hi i bought this case now im having a problem with the fan in front the top one one of the four quadrants doesnt light all the time it goes off and on when it feels like i tried going to nzxt site for replacement but the only led i saw isnt the same do u know if i can replace this fan and have the exact lighting effect or is the led light part of the case like the 2 lines in the front cuz i have to know how to get this fixed thanks

Both are great cases, the two main differences are design, and size.... the Evo comes with all fans included, the Phantom doesn't.

In my opinion you'll be satisfied with either, the Phantom is a lot bigger, but for a mid tower case.. the Evo is roomier than most others, it's a tough decision and one that I'm considering right now myself. I have all kinds of ideas for mods on both cases, chances are I'll end up buying them both lol.

@UltraVert hey I bought the phantom yesterday, and you wanna know what ? You can't go wrong with, the main reason for me changing my smalish thermaltake is that I bought another 6970 and the heat and the cables were almost melting everything here, the space of it is just amazing, tons and tons of cable management options, I also Bought the 200mm NZXT fan for the side panel, it is just amazing :)

the HDD rails are the same on the m59, personally I find them slightly harder to get the alignment right compared to me coolermaster HAF 922 which has what kinda looks like a little rectangle that the HDD slides into.

It seems that the Window version of that case isn't avaidable everywhere.. on the nzxt site, if you choose your language you can view every case in your lang. but if you choose the window version, you'll get relinked to the .com page. even in german shops for example, you only find the closed version, while ebay has a windowed one in UK and US.. This sucks.. you lost a potential comstumer NZXT :(

@wingscancer umm thsi im not sure of. i dont actually own this case but i am getting it somewhat soon (maybe 2ish weeks) but the fans have a cover on the top but you should be able to take that cover out (its more like it only shows the blades, not the whole fan itself) but you should be able to yes.

I have an NZXT Hades right now but this looks like a better case.

I love how NZXT Cases have filters all over so its always dust free inside. LOL the front of the Tempest evo has triple filters. lol no way dust is getting in there.

@dropcitizen I have the Tempest EVO and al I can say is that it rocks. Its only drawback is that the side panel fan doesn't have any real dustfilter, just a fine mesh on the outside so you'll have to buy a filter. Also the fans are pretty loud. I say that you stick with the Hades since it has got bigger, quieter fans and since bigger fans = higher airflow.
