Eric's vocals on the end are Fantastic--Alan Price is the only keyboard player to play the right notes behind Eric -to accent the vocals--Too bad they won't play or record together-
I picked up this album in fall of 1979. Absolutely loved it! This is one of a trio of songs I played over and over again. The keyboard work is phenomenal, and Eric's soaring vocals, from way down lo-w-w-w to that heart-aching high, never fail to cause me shivers!
Have you guys ever heard the song "After the Lights Go Down Low" by Al Hibbler. It's a big band number, but the reason I bring it up is because Eric sounds alot like Al Hibbler in this song and "After the Lights Go Down Low" is the best example of what I mean. Listen to how they both reach down with those deep bass notes before climbing back up to a higher note that sounds sort of like they're shouting in the way a preacher shouts.

This one is one of my all time Animal faves. Eric sounds like a Tibetan monk as he dives down into those baritone regions he covers so well
good shit, Maynerd ;-)

Most of 'em are right next door in "related videos". It would be great to have those tunes looped here on one cut, tho', wouldn't it! ;-D
