I gained a degree of respect for Greg Guttfield when he defended Bauhaus. Doesn't make up for his consistently awful timing and delivery, but, you know, small steps.
good point about the sun city girls, i was around for the hardcore explosion in the 80s & the media did everything possible to bury it. it is fun to listen to mark talk smack about all these stupid sell outs though. his opinions are more valid than mine. i'm too busy listening to midwest hardcore even 20 years after the fact. Oh & mark, you need a die kruzen page
The interviewer always mentions bands/artists that you totally hate, I don't know if that is a good or bad thing. At some point I would love to hear him mention something that you would honestly say that you like.
Thx for posting this, hilarious i saw it last night. The mention to Bauhaus and Slayer is priceless. Bunnymen out in space, thats classic! You got Andy making the joke about Garafelo never gettin laid in high school on here too? That was too much last night, funny stuff. Red Eye rocks!
I kinda liked the new Dylan. Granted, in the four weeks I've owned it, I've probably listened to it a grand total of once, which is probably more telling than anything else I could say. But that accordion was pretty and it only cost about 7 dollars.

Fuck me Gutfield's last line is so funny it almost sounds like a joke instead of him introducing a legitimate segment.

(For the record, Cat Stevens has received royalties for "Fight Test.")
