Ddos is not useful anymore as we have real hacking tools but. Telnet does not do severe damage to a computer it may get you into a computer and assist you with the hack but your the one who does it

The 80's and 90's were different. But even back then when we were on 56k modems and ISDN of 128k. You still needed a group of people to make any kind of dent.

And even still, it's the same principle of ICMP packets flooding the server.

There's never been a site or server been permanently put out of commision by DDOS.

These days they have countermeasures to drop an IP that requests too many ICMP packets from a server. So this video is useless.

DDOS has and always will be a script kiddy thing. It's a pointless venture on your own as well.

All it's doing is flooding a server with requests for ICMP packets. Once the requests stop shit goes away. So it either ends two ways;

1. The script kiddy gets bored and gives up.

2. They trace him and the ISP gives a warning or he gets charged.

Get it out of your head that telnet is some l33t hacker program.

Please point me towards a server with telnet open with no password or authentication
