1st: if (in VMware) the Network Connection type is set to Bridged, I don't get an IP

2nd: if i set the Network Connection as NAT, I DO get an IP (192.168.88.149), and I can use the web UI (through port 8080), though I can't access the port 80...

    Any help pls?

  • how do you turn the server in offline mode, so that you dont need to be on a premium account to connect to the server, becouse i like to test plugins on random accounts who arent an op, and i dont want to buy a second account. help plz

  • @nilsie12 when u go to the server.properties file, go to the online-mode=FALSE, not true

  • @BzTProductions7 and WHERE is the server.properties file in MineOS? =S

  • i was wondering how we can modify .cfg files? It would be really cool to add that to the web interface reather then do it manually in the server.

  • hi i opend up the ui and clicked create and this appeared

    executing command: cgi-bin/server.cgi?command=create&world=one&mineos_mem=&server_port=&max_players=&mineos_mod=pure

{'world': 'one', 'mineos_mod': 'pure', 'command': 'create'} Environment: World one (1024 MB) running pure on port 25565 - max_players = 20 world already exists--no action taken

......but i did not make a map. please help

  • Gaaah, I'm still so confused! All I want to do is get a previously created world save up and running with MineOS but I can't wrap my head around all this command line nonsense. I just don't understand. Is it even possible?

  • how can you change the server properties? i need it to be set online-mode=false.

lol, me and most of my friends are broke...

  • How do we delete worlds that are already made?

  • hey i just updated mineos and i was wondering what the memory aspect stands for

  • I've got a problem I hope you could solve.

I had a server(+world) which I migrated into MineOS(running on an acctual PC, not a WM), to make things more interesting, I set MineOS up using ram-disk.

Every time the server goes down(2 times due to power failure), it is a real hazzle to get the up and running with the latest backups. First I have to create server one, delete the world, extract an archive of the world into the ram-world, then do a backtrack. Could this process be simplified?

  • Continued...

The reason(I think) why I have to extract an archived world into ram-world is because if I don't, there are large chunks of the world missing because the backups are incremental and thus do not have the imported world from my previous server.

It would be great if there was a restore-feature of the archives, cause it's time consuming to do that through ssh/terminal.

  • Could you make a video on how to update to the latest version of MineOS???

  • I like that idea. I'll definitely implement it.

  • Will, could you add a version number on the web interface,

that tells you which version of mineOS you are using?
