After looking at your video I went to the Louis Vuitton website. I was able to find bags on the official site that has the show the things that you say make's them fake.I was able to see "LV's" that are a stitch and cut off (cut off by the zipper). also on there site there's button's that have Louis Vuitton spelled out and not the "LV". based on what I can see on there site and what I've bought at a real store in Towson, MD which I found on there site a few of your facts are wrong.
One last comment, I think LV has brought about this onslaught of fakes through its own doing. LV products in America have seen a %100 increase in the past decade. While the price goes up, the quality has remained the same; the consumer gets no additional benefit from spending more money. While the cost of materials and labor has risen, it is doubtful they've increased so much to warrant such a high markup. I think the counterfeit market actually might compel LV to rethink their price hikes.
With all due respect to the creators of this video, I think these hints are pretty outdated. To the commenter below who said LV fakes are becoming less and less visible against the authentic bags, this is very true. Truth be told, Louis Vuitton, while their bags are well-crafted and nice, are not the only ones capable of creating a decent bag with the attributes described in the video. The tip about LV not being covered in stitches isn't correct at all? I recently bought a LV stresa gm at the official Louis Vuitton store in the Netherlands, and some of the LV initials on my bag are covered by stitches.

If they need to fit in with the rich and famous, last thing they should do is risk getting caught with a fake. They should look at the current trends and try to margin shop at places like kohl's, target, and old navy while still keeping the same style. That will make fit in more i think.

I don’t think that even Jess Zaino knows an authentic from a knock off. Search for the monogram canvas top handle speedy 30 at louisvuitton view the side notice that the famous LV logo is stitched in a crease. And this is from the LV site not a dealer. So that does not necessarily mean that it's a fake.

She told them that she bought it in Japan and they were not surprised. They did call management to also look at the bag and he thought the same thing. We weren't trying to embarrassed anyone just a test. Do buyer be ware those bags that come from Japan "do the research they are most likely fakes. Just buy one from a licensed dealer.

It robs not only the fashion industry, but it isn't regulated at all and usually crime syndicates are behind it. I think that if you can't afford a real one, then just look for trendy bags at a lower price. First of all we don't buy fake, second it was the same one that I own and my is 100% authentic. She said that when she saw it she too could not believe it was a fake that is why she brought it back. After I saw it and compared it to mine, It was unbelievably identical we even counted the stitches on the bag. I'm telling you they are getting better

I'm a shoe designer, and I have been working very hard that I have some pieces patent pending, but I know once my line is out I will probably see knock offs, but what can I do. Only 2-3 % are wealthy and can afford to buy designer, and with today's economy the rest are either poor or dirt poor there is no in between.

@SuchaCaligrrl I'm glad to hear you are against it. And a designer, good for you! My sister actually studied 2 years in FIDM LA and Is now studying in paris, but about people trying to fit in. If they need to fit in with the rich and famous, last thing they should do is risk getting caught with a fake. They should look at the current trends and try to margin shop at places like kohl's, target, and old navy while still keeping the same style. That will make fit in more i think.

All you have to do is look for a leathersmith or saddle maker. For a saddle maker a purse no matter how advanced of a design it is relatively easy & simple for them to make all they need is a pattern & they can make it with quality that Louis Vuitton couldn't compare to...& with all the leather stamps that they can use & all the differant techniqs that they have they can make you a ONE of a KIND bag that no one else on the planet would have.. just something to think about..
