Wow, you weren't kidding, these things fly like CRAP with the engines located where they are now. Gonna do the UNmod you suggested and also a longer antenna to the RX as the reception is also CRAP and the plane takes off on its own merry way searching for a signal.
If you fly up, then shut off throttle at altitude and push the right stick either direction, the plane will do a barrel roll! It is so cool in the air; try it!
This (and the other videos I posted) basically shows how the Air Rage MicroFighter/StarScream F-22 will fly AFTER you move the motors from the wings (where the factory now puts them) back to their ORIGINAL position on the fins (vertical stabilizers). The ones on 27 mHz were shipped with problematic R/C .... but those on 49 mHz actually have good R/C!

...and, if you get the plane moving vertically UPWARD very fast, it will do a VERTICAL barrel roll! See my other videos. Lee
