  • Thanks much. I'm a pro player and you answered all my questions about upgrading to the xt. Perfect video!

    Michael Chain Band

  • Thanks for this video, I saw both models on ebay and was not sure about what their differences were, even after going to tc-helicon's page. Do you know if you can use a bass instead of a guitar with the g-xt?

  • The TC Helicon Harmony G.XT has 38% Off Now(Free shipping)!!!

    at w w w . cheapbuy-online . c o m /tc-helicon-harmony-g-xt

(lower than the manufacturer's suggested retail price)

    Quickly in this month!!!

  • Very nice video! Do you have any experience on Vocalist live 3G? How does it compare with Harmony G XT?

  • Fantastic video. Very helpful comparison. Great stuff. Thanks.

  • Hi i use the Harmony G in a live band as well many times on stage - this harmony G is good but it does feedback ALOT! like a stuck pig !!! ive wanted to hurl this box out the window many times , but for that price i payed i think ill just put it on ebay ! we are a loud ROCK band , ( no campfire music ) i believe they boned up the Advertisement with just a 1 man band in selling this box !

Is anyone interested in a stomped on stained scrached and well abused TC Helicon Harmony G ? b4 i kill it

  • Great tutorial - thank you so much. I was going to buy the G because its dropped so much in price, but I think the money will be better spent buying the G-XT; thanks again for sharing the information

  • Will this provide harmonies WITHOUT a guitar, keyboard or MIDI signal; just using a vocalist?

  • @69chadv

You can store a harmony (and choose 3 different scales) per preset.

To store this in manual mode, you need a guitar. (Even a pianosound from a keyboard worked :)

  • I own this unit and have some questions of my own. Please feel free to contact me at kova(at)kovamusic(dot)com so we can talk outside of YouTube. Thanks!

  • Thanks so much for doing this. I bought the Harmony G and about 2 months later, they came out with the XT. Ugh!! The fact that this one allows you to connect with USB to get new firmware updates is worth it. One question-I notice the Harmony G would sometimes take a second to react to the guitar chord change. So you'd be singing and playing, and then the harmony would track. So you're harmony would kind of jump or bend.

Is the harmony-reaction any quicker with the XT?

  • Thank you very much for sharing this information with us. Great guy. Can you please tell me IF I CAN USE THE G-TX when playing Chords on my Electronic Keyboard, instead of JUST ON MY ELECTRO ACOUSTIC GUITAR ? Would It pick up the Harmonies from the Chords I play on the Keyboard. ? I only play chords on my Keyboard, I'm not a virtuoso soloist on Keyboards. Thanks.

  • Friend, that's exactly the research that I was looking for so I could decide between the two devices. Very nicely done, brother!

  • Great vid, just what we needed. I'll be sticking with the old version for a while yet but thanks for a really clear presentation.

  • Thanks for the demo! Are the harmony scales for each (high/low etc.)exactly the same as the original or are there multiple scales to choose from and program?

  • Nicely done and greatly appreciated. Just what the Dr. ordered...

  • Where did you find an XT model?!?!? I have been scouring the web and NOBODY has them yet.

  • i asked as i did read about some troubles with voice live2 on forums (2 users having trouble with harmonies)and since they are sharing the same engine i wonder.More than the added functions it would be awesome if you could try what they share in functions, and report (i have g already but not Xt).Thank You for the review again

  • Hi ,i was Looking EXACTLY for that,Thanks .I have the G.

How is the Xt in the tracking and resulting voices, it handles differently?

    Like different resulting "lines".

The only issue i see sometime the G loses tracking with Longer single chords .

Would be great to find the "weak spots" on the G and to verify them on Xt
