Unfortunately, some people love their parents no matter how much they are abused and would rather stay with them than something else that is offered them. It is those children that suffer the most mentally, not the ones that seek their own vengeance.

I'm sorry but I don't think that would help anything. This is the way our father treated us and he had the nerve to blame us for not loving him. He was a selfish bastard and I still hate his guts 34 years after the died of smoking (lung cancer). Our mom and him devorced when I was twelve after he put her in the hospital for the 3rd time. She took him back a year late but I got him in a corner and told him I would KILL him of he ever touched a one of us again. He understood completely since I had my hands around his pitiful neck!!!

I DISlike this video. The child should have talked to an adult he could trust, or bring it to awarness. In no way, should you EVER kill your parent, no matter what they've done to you.
I teach 3rd grade, and this kind of abuse can happen, but unfortunately we do not know much about it at all. I do not believe that it would be that easy for a child to pick up a phone or go to a local courthouse, but I do know of someone who shot and killed their father after years and years of abuse. We were kids growing up together, and I never knew about it, only heard about it years later.
As a kid that grew up with some pretty brutal catholic parents, it never occurred to me, not even once, to get my own back on them. I promised myself that when I had a child, that they would never be subjected to beatings or belittlement. I vowed I would have only as many children as I could love and so I had one. One beautiful child who has grown into a well balanced, happy and decent young woman. No religion. No beatings. No humiliation. Just love.

(Dept of Health and Human Svcs yearly abuse stats) A parent who abuses their children is also more likely to abuse their spouse, as hundreds of studies show and as the women in those studies admit to their primary abuse of child AND spouse as well... This is a fantasy video - most kids who are abused don't have the self esteem to fight back for themselves - male children will fight back at a father who beats siblings/mother. I find it interesting how people always blame the child, when it is the child who is innocent. Society does not want to look at abusive parenting, yet it is responsible for creating the worst trouble among humans on earth. It is well documented that Adolf Hitler etc had severely troubled childhoods.

Get beyond the pain by getting good at something you love and get away from the abusers ASAP. Loneliness is better than prison. At 17 the way to get the best from youth is to educate yourself. It's also the way to meet cool people. Try to get a job at a ranch for room and board. Read stuff to get smart.

This is the way our father treated us and he had the nerve to blame us for not loving him. He was a selfish bastard and I still hate his guts 34 years after the died of smoking (lung cancer). Our mom and him devorced when I was twelve after he put her in the hospital for the 3rd time. She took him back a year late but I got him in a corner and told him I would KILL him of he ever touched a one of us again. He understood completely since I had my hands around his pitiful neck!!!

@Lars1993 I am not proud to be forced to give my dad an attitude adjustment but it was long over due. He even came crawling to me the day before he died and I just said, "Wow! finally crawled out of your hole." He did not earn any more that that from me so he got what he deserved. I teach 3rd grade, and this kind of abuse can happen, but unfortunately we do not know much about it at all. I do not believe that it would be that easy for a child to pick up a phone or go to a local courthouse, but I do know of someone who shot and killed their father after years and years of abuse. We were kids growing up together, and I never knew about it, only heard about it years later.

As a kid that grew up with some pretty brutal catholic parents, it never occurred to me, not even once, to get my own back on them. I promised myself that when I had a child, that they would never be subjected to beatings or belittlement. I vowed I would have only as many children as I could love and so I had one. One beautiful child who has grown into a well balanced, happy and decent young woman. No religion. No beatings. No humiliation. Just love.

(Dept of Health and Human Svcs yearly abuse stats) A parent who abuses their children is also more likely to abuse their spouse, as hundreds of studies show and as the women in those studies admit to their primary abuse of child AND spouse as well... @MyStuffedRabbit yea i grew up worse than this actually i'm seventeen and i'm STILL living though it and if i had never stood up for myself i would have been dead @ about 10 years old. both my parents are alcaholics and are divorced, I live with my mom, and all some of her boyfriends were worse than what was depicted in this video. one of whom tried daily to kill me. He even hired people to rape, and kill me. counslers would only call child services to interview us, in wich they lied to them.

This is a fantasy video - most kids who are abused don't have the self esteem to fight back for themselves - male children will fight back at a father who beats siblings/mother. I find it interesting how people always blame the child, when it is the child who is innocent. Society does not want to look at abusive parenting, yet it is responsible for creating the worst trouble among humans on earth. @79mountainview I'm 58 and never got over the beatings from my dad and crap from my chaotic family. But if you buy a gun you're doomed to prison should you use it. In prison they'll rape you. Get beyond the pain by getting good at something you love and get away from the abusers ASAP. Loneliness is better than prison. At 17 the way to get the best from youth is to educate yourself. It's also the way to meet cool people. Try to get a job at a ranch for room and board. Read stuff to get smart.

@79mountainview I'm 58. I never got over the beatings and abuse I got from my dad, and had 4 years of psychotherapy from 8 to 12. At the end, the shrink threatened to separate me from my family and gave my dad an ultimatum to quit beating me. Dude, the way to get beyond the pain is to become as talented and successful as you can be and bury your pain in the work you love. If you buy a gun you will for sure use it. Now you will be going to prison and there you will get the worst abuse of all.

At a young age an intolerant kid can be capable of this, when courage is cheap, i guess. But as they get older, courage is pricey, for they know the outcome, and other solutions they wait for to happen.
