The genre (musical style) is not something that I understand. However, I will say that these are excellent musicians and I have a feeling that they can go a long way with their skill.

It annoys me a little that the snare drum is so drastically out of tune with the rest of the music.

That is of course not the band's fault. The band is great and has a lot of talent. I will give the video 5 stars for the musicianship.
