yes had to shorten the shift rod for the floor shift 4*4

i have an idi 7.3 with an automatic how hard was the 5 speed swap??

not too bad everything is arround 5 inches shorter that the auto so cut the front shaft and had a new rear shaft made and some homemade cross member and got the pedles out of a 5 speed 150

doesn't sound to bad did you have the e40d? if so what manual transmission bolts up the same?

a ZF 5 speed will bold in place E4OD and got the clutch and flywheel off of e-bay it is a luk clutch

is that a cab and chassis F350? Pulls pretty hard!

yest it is a cab and chassis I put the bed on it it it used to be a spray truck with a 1000 water tank on the back pulls right good for the old idi diesel

best frames for a pullin truck....they are thick as hell! I got a C&C dually I am makin into am IDI pickup!
