This is NOT Styx, folks. This appears to be Dennis DeYoung with a fronting band. Styx and DeYoung had split up years before this.

What I meant was, I know that they still carry the name Styx, but only three members are left that have anything to do with the heyday of the band, James Young, Tommy Shaw and Chuck Panozzo even though he still tours and plays with them he is considered a part time member, so out of the five people in the group, three of them are new. So yes a "Shadow of their former self". I mean they hardly ever play ANY of Dennis Deyoung's songs, and that is a crime.

It was a New Years Eve crowd where everyone was pretty much mangled and the concert was live on t.v .. of COURSE it was noisy.

Nice clip...but that is not Styx. It is Dennis De Young with his band. The current line up of Styx does not perform the entire song...just a hint during the show. This song was Dennis's baby...not the rest of the band.
