This movie is too long. It bored me to sleep back in 1999 when I first saw it on tape. It kind of failed my expectations. This is more of a mood movie as E.T. The Extra-Terrestial is. So don't watch this (or E.T.) if you are tired. However, Spielberg was able to redeem himself with Artificial Intelligence - w/c, to me, is a classic as far space creatures are concerned. 3/1/12

I always laughed at the part where the guys in the orange suits think they are going to go into spaceship. Then the aliens are all like: fuck you, we choose who we want. and they choose Roy. Then the orange suits don't get to go.
