I looked this up after reading it was based on Chopin's Heroic Polonaise (Op. 53), and I'm quite disappointed. Doesn't live up to Chopin's wonderful composition.

Perry Como epitomizes the "Silent Generation", as well as most of the artists of his generation.

Perry was such an incredible singer and was one of my favorites. It was great that he was still giving concerts into his early eighties for younger generations to enjoy. He had such a relaxed singing style and was such a wonderful person.

It's actually much older since it is based on a classical piece by Frederic Chopin, who died in 1849.
