you guys have never seen the missouri river in the summer then... lots of ppl, tons of funs, just a bunch of ppl drinking on the sand bars and having a good time.

also, come back to Bismarck the last weekend of June for the McQuades National Softball TOurnament... over 400 teams comes and Clem Kelly complex is packed with ppl, its basically just a big drunk fest with some of the best softball teams from the midwest playing

My younger brother lives in Bismarck and he is always trying to get me to move there. I would LOVE to be closer to my brother and his family. Unfortunately, I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota and the only place on this continent that has worse Winters than Minnesota is North Dakota and I HATE Minnesota Winters! This video had a rude banner about a quarter of the way through it - talking about a certain part of the male anatomy. No one FROM Bismarck would appreciate that, I think.

As someone who has spent my entire life in Bismarck, this video is funny, Ive never had the chance to listen to the opinions of someone visiting the area for the first time in this manner. People visiting should get a guide to tell about the great history here for anyone to trully get a picture. No wonder we have such a bad reputation.

There is a certain beauty of being able to see the curve of the earth in the land of flatness (and silence if you take the time). The Missouri, Kyaking, biking, photography, Solitude and contemplation, peacock alley, and Running from meatheads (or verbally abusing them)are all great time passers. Bismarck has much to offer, as well as much to scorn, which can also be entertaining if in the presence of the right people with the right amount of cynical aptitude.

I love Bismarck. Moving to Fargo has made me realize how much better Bistown is. Fargo is bigger and has a few cool things, down town especially but the weather is even worse. And there is not a damn HILL ANYWHERE! that gets old. For me the Missouri river makes Bismarck cool, can't really do much in the nasty ass red river.

Sure, there are tons of other things you could have seen, but you're not from there, so how are you suppose to know how to find everything.

Yea I have lived hear since birth and I find it a nice place to call home... Low crime, but unless you like the outdoors and driving everywhere, there is nothing to do! Get good friends and stay close to family, its the only entertainment you will get around here! :)
