What about revelation 3:10, which says: "because you have kept my command to endure, I also will keep you from (ek: out of) the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth." If the tribulation is a time of wrath, trial, and testing (as other verses mention), then we should be exempt from that time (read Romans 5:9; 1 Thessalonians 1:10; 5:9)

Religion is a Babylonian tradition and custom aquired by Israel before the catholic church adopted it's practices, and now continues today in most churches and denominations. The bible does speak of times coming that are nothing like anything we have ever seen. It doesn't give a time line for them, but we are already seeing a rise in earthquakes, and natural disasters than anything I've ever seen in my lifetime so far, and it's only going to get worse.

The worse it gets the closer I know we are to the Lord's return. I do know for a fact the world won't end in 2012, although I know a time is coming when it won't be as easy for us as it is now.
