  • lolz three way:)

  • Transformers is actually a terrible model to consider for color correction, their skin tones are oompa loompa status. You actually do a better job than their colorist did.

  • I <3 you, thanks helped so much!

  • hello, i have very important video clip wich is too yellow (the operator didnt do white balance) how can i fix it?

  • @gor6262 Choose Fast Color Corrector and use the color picker to pick what should be white in your footage. That should do a quick fix

  • check out CameraMountClamp dotcom

  • thank you..very helpful...please sub me back

  • Cool! I'm still trying to figure out how to make the sky look more blue without affecting the skin tone too much - any suggestions?

  • awesome, thx

  • I followed every step, but when I make adjustments nothing happens to my clip. Very frustrating, need help?

  • Thanks man, really good, very simple and Fast!

  • Hi Tuwhitcombe !

Thank you much, it's really effective ! formerly, I just used the brightness & contrast Fx and that did not give a very satisfying result. I tried you parameters (in this tutorial) and the result is like "whoaow!".

Thank you for sharing this. See you around!

  • Very cool vid. Thanks!

  • u can just make it into one big clip before cutting any. ThEn u can edit the color

  • Comment removed

  • great tutorial cheers :-)

  • can you save presents for the color correct that you do so you dont have to redo the whole thing for every clip?

  • @ClassicPandas Not sure you could do it with a group of effects. What you can do is do one clip. Then cmd/ctrl copy all the effects in that order and then you can just select the rest of the clips and hit paste. that will apply everything to all the clips.

  • @ClassicPandas highlight the clips, then -NESTING

  • thanks for the tutorial, very helpful

  • Thank you thank you thank you!

  • Good video thank you I was wondering how to do this actually. I really didnt want normal footage in my videos.

  • how can i just simply raise the color in a video, withouth the gray stuff getting a like a rainbow on it

  • @ShooterCinema Just boost saturation. You get the rainbow when you overdo it

  • u said ctrl CMD ..to apply effects to all clips..i cant find cmd ( command?) on my key board...plz help. sorry i m new to editing

  • @xryder

    ctrl or CoMmanD

cmd is a button on the mac keyboard

  • were did u get adobe premiere pro from

can u download it for 3 or not ?

  • @RemoteDaleD No, you cannot get it for free (assuming that's what you meant.)

Well, you can get it warezed, but then you wouldn't want to use it for anything profitable or any major projects with companies, because you don't have a license then.

If you're looking to get a copy legally go to adobe's website.

  • what settings are your HV40 set in with the 35 adapter? im finding a hard time finding the right mix.

  • Hi...can you please help me, I have to color correct a clip in which the background which consists of hills and sky is brighter than the foreground in which the face of the man who is giving his byte appears very dark...how can i get more definition on his face and reduce the brightness of the background at the same time...

  • @tasneemislam after effects buddy... after effects

  • Could you please help me on making Vignette effect? Thanks in advance

  • Thanks man... Nice and simple...

  • awesome! thanks! i just got this programme and that's the first thing I wanted to know how to do - forget actually putting the stuff together! haha I just want cool colours! great simple easy to follow tutorial! 5 thumbs up!

  • So in your opinion does Premiers color grading is as good as as AE's? I really wanna know as i graded my entire film on AE and messes up when i render the comp, so now im planning on grading it in premier, pls help!!!

  • how do u get those Dark edges

  • very helpful,...thank you.

  • Thank you very cool man..

  • Im still fresh to video editing, and I was wondering how to apply my C.C to all of my slivers of footage? I try to select all of my clips in my playlist and when I view the "effects" tab, it displays "multiple clips selected", yet wont allow me to manage my effects. How do I quickly apply one CC to all clips at once?

  • @xxfinnellxx What you can do is work on one of your clips to taste and then while holding ctrl/cmd, select each effect on that one clip in the order you want them to appear and hit c to copy them(still holding ctrl/cmd). After that, select the rest of the clips and hit ctrl/cmd v they should paste to all the clips that were selected... hope that helps

  • @tuwhitcombe Much appreciated man. Helped me out! Because I knew that there was a shortcut but it wasn't obviously available.

  • @tuwhitcombe You're using CS4, so I think that you can group effects into a single preset. That way you can also use them quite simply in other projects as needed.

  • @tuwhitcombe Oh, and add one more feather to your cap... this answer just saved me about 30 minutes of work.

  • @jbraly no worries... glad to be of help

  • This is a great tutorial man. Not once was I like, "Ugh... come on, get to it!!" lol, Ur straight to the point, and very helpful. Thanks for sharing! This helps a lot.

  • love premiere but crashes on projects more than 3 hrs....hopefully cs5 fixes these issues

  • Straight to point, which I've been looking for. Thank you so much!!

  • Very nice job!!

  • Very good tutorial.

  • thanks man

    bravo

  • Thanks, it really helped me understand the program slightly more!

  • greatt video. hey i was wondering if you knew how to make specific colors stand out...say i got someone wearing a blue shirt and i really want that to stand out. do u know how i would go about doing thatt? the best example i can give u is this /watch?v=WmYtHfG4pIU at 57 seconds see how the green and red stand out?

  • I think you can do that with the "Leave color" effect. Try it out

  • Really great. Straight to the point unlike half the other tutorials out there

  • Thanks for the how-to video. And did you sneeze or do a 'explosion sound effect' at 1:22 ? Sort of like "...and [wham!] here is the color correction tab"

  • @donkeyridersrock haha... yeah it was an explosion effect to introduce the "highly sophisticated" 3 way color corrector...lol

  • haha yeah I was on a school computer, and on the tiny little computer speeker for some reason it sounded like a sneeze or pretend explosion. And now I'm on my own computer with actual speakers, it doesn't sound like 'explosion sound effect' at all, oh well lol.

  • this was perfect, thanks for this.

  • really helpful!

but how do you copy all the effects that you added to a scene and paste the color correction into other scene?

  • select each each while holding command(mac) or control(Win) and then hit c while still holding the command or control. Select the next clip and hit command v and it should paste to that

  • helped alot

  • This is really helpful, thanks for your time.

    Will

  • Thank you very much, it was really big help. take care

  • hello man its great, how did you created the letterbox for this clip?

  • There are several ways of doing it in premiere. An easy method is adding the crop effect to your video and cropping the top and bottom portions of the clip. Crop effect should be in your transform folder under video effects if i'm correct

  • This is great! Really helpful!
