Linux includes implementation of almost every possible programming language as well as works on more than 30 different hardware architectures. It outperfoms windows in every possible way. It this a full distro of Linux or one specifically designed for IPAQ? I dual boot GPE 2.7 on my hx4700 and it boots much quicker than yours does from ROM? Mine runs from a virtual RAM drive created on the SD card.
