this is Germany Brian. The countryside in the Netherlands is flatter.

@ernststolz That's not always true. You also can't say that the countryside in Germany is always hilly. Think of Hamburg and the German coast... it's very flat!! In Province Limburg, there are HUGE hills. In the Dutch provinces that touch German (Limburg , Gelderland, etc) there are many hills where the Ardennes begin. It is mostly only in the 2 Hollands, Groningen, and Friesland where it is as flat as you are thinking.
