Whether you think John Barroman is a good singer or not, you just miss the point. With all the doom and woe around us about the recession and worrying about losing our jobs; this guy takes our mind off it all. He provides that light entertainment, and he also makes it happen and gives some people the chances to do or meet someone; that they could never achieve without this show. And by the way, there's an awful lot more out in t.v. land that he beats hands down.

Don't get me wrong, I love John Barrowman. He's beautiful and a very cool guy, but he's not a good singer. His role in Torchwood is superb, but Tonight's the Night fails.

I mean, it's your opinion and all but really, if he wasn't a good singer he wouldn't be buddy buddy with Andrew Lloyd Webber or Cameron Mackintosh. And he wouldn't be a highly demanded west end leading man.

It's a discussion. Some people will like him. Some people will hate him. But you can't put your opinion out for everyone to see and not expect a response. @SinnedAngel08 Hey thanks for the vids! You are so right about needing more fun shows like this in the US. I personally miss the shows when I was growing up, like the Solid Gold show in the 80s. I was born in 65 so I'm only 2 yrs older than him and he brings back those memories. He is a great actor and now I will be looking for his music. Personally I like the way he sings, all out , without fear and he really is good! The US needs more like him!
