Wow, I thought the mandolin player's break was sick. And if you listen closely, the banjo player is squeezing just as many notes in during his last break. The vocals are what this song is about, but the mandolin and banjo breaks make this performance special.
They have been around since the early 90s, I think a couple are brothers and they traveled to the US on Tour. My father had the privilegde of playing with them at a Bluegrass festival.
So this is what the Vancouver Canucks do after they get knocked out of the playoffs..

This is a great tribute to American indigenous music. That a group of Swedes would play this music and play if very well is wonderful stuff.

Good Job, but no, the mandolin player sounds like he's trying to jam as many notes into the break as he possibly can.
The Voice Blend is Awesome - not a lot of groups can do that - they seem to be really aware of what the others are doing and blend it all well.

Does the mandolin player sound like he has had classical violin training?

Really enjoyed this. The tempo is just right so you can actually understand what they're saying!! Looking forward to hearing more from them.

These guys are German? Unreal. Fooled me. Great singing and picking on a terrific old gospel song.
