Vin Diesel Is The Man.. Such A Great Actor.. If Anyone Wants To Head Over To My Channel I Have A Couple Of His Clips Uploaded.. Knockaround Guys and Man Apart Fight Scenese If Your Interested.
I worked as a telemarketer and remember my boss telling me to watch this movie , so I did and the next day went to work and found an empty office with no furniture with 2 weeks of owed checks for everybody that was working there . Big scam all along . You live and learn :)
@danspivey91 he's a trainee at a "chopshop" broker firm. When he gets a customer interested, he says RECO, which means he needs a senior broker to finish the sale.
i'm just curious probably nobody will know the answer but maybe someone will. 2000 shares, wow that could be massive depending on the price of the stock. How much was the cost per share?
@jetliigor I'm by no means an expert, but ideally stock shares are worth between $25 and $75 each (ideally). My guess with a private pharmacutical with a new drug, they were worth middle to low range, with the doctor hoping that it would skyrocket to 75 or higher. So yup, vin diesel called it "starting small" but it was probably nearly $100,000 on blind faith.
@Thommy2n Yep. You're no expert! Its a pink sheet, otc, trading from a few cents to a few dollars, not that the price matters since its only a scam. the consecrated term is "a pump and dump". Beautiful isn't it?
@jetliigor Probably a few bucks. So figure the Dr would have to invest 6000 to start. on average a small biotech stock trades between 1 and 5 dollars. I would think its in that range as he wouldn't want to spook the Dr with "investing" (risking) too much money
@lilcyd80 Honestly, any person who falls for this kind of shit deserves what they get. I love when I get calls from people like this. I act like I'm falling for it, let them waste their time as long as I can, then tell them to F themselves. I have no use, or respect for sales people of any kind. If I want to buy something, I'll have already researched it, and know what I want.
It's when you ask the closing question, not during negotiation, the first person who talks during the close of a sale, loses!!
The very definition of the word "negotiation" implies discussion and persuasion, not silence.
Websters Dict: Negotiation is an active dialogue between two parties to reach an agreement, resolve a conflict agreeably, or gain an advantage in any outcome of dialogue, to bargain with.
You seem awfully opinionated for someone with his sales terminology wrong.
@SharkMarketer You don't even know what I'm talking about and you're trying to lecture me. If you were to read what TheRevolutionarySoul wrote then you would understand that I'm making the same statement as you.
You're 100% right. What's funny is, when your in school it's a skill set that's not even discuss much less taught. I can count on one hand the number of "traditional colleges or unviersities" that even have (what I would consider) a strong sales and marketing curriculum.
@darqman82 Yeah I liked doing it and after moving on to another career realized that the ability to sell will help you in many careers and life, in general. It amazes me how many people out there cannot take rejection or pitch an idea.
@DrMBA28 You're 100% right. What's funny is, when your in school it's a skill set that's not even discuss much less taught. I can count on one hand the number of "traditional colleges or unviersities" that even have (what I would consider) a strong sales and marketing curriculum
@DrMBA28 I 110% agree with this... The whole world is one giant marketplace. Even in the world of dating. You have to sell yourself to women and to put your best foot forward and if they like you and se you valuable, they will invest... Works on every level
did anyone catch the line when Vin said 'let me open the door to my office'...in the midst of the crowd noise one of them yelled out, 'oh my god im gonna come!'

@Lavourah Nobody calls us "sellers". You may try salespeople if you're a customer, which you are, but that is offensive.

@2tame4fame I'm considered a Closer, not a seller. Selling is easy and I could sell pacemakers to babies ...Sellers haha
