@danitabori you get a loose explanation in Revenge Of The Sith, where its explained Qui-Gon Jinn had mastered the ability to return from the "netherworld of the force" after death. Here Yoda says to Obi-Wan that he will teach him how to communicate with Qui-Gon. Therefore, we are to assume that over the period between Episodes 3 and 4, both Yoda and Obi-Wan are taught the same ability, hence why both disappear upon death. That said, the full explanation is mostly Expanded Universe territory.

@bigj19881 well anakin doesnt do it by the same methods. its open to interpretation of course, but Lucas' own take on it is that Obi-Wan and Yoda help Anakin live on after his death. it could be to do with the will of the force too. when Anakin sacrifices himself, he essentially saves his soul, and the opportunity is born. the whole thing has always been somewhat loose and ambiguous so you make of it what you want. theres never gonna be a logical, definitive explanation

@jitterbugbhoy Don't forget that there is a possibility that Palpatine actually upheld his promise and taught Vader how to cheat death when Vader became powerful enough. It woldn't really matter if it wasn't exactly what Palpatine suggested, because Padme was already dead.

and a little speed up and i recognized one or two cuts, but the cuts are more feeling than knowing. i have not the original here to compare. but im sure about the bit more speed. and btw, even just with different music its best, i've seen this with "duel of the fates" for example, that sucks.

Too bad the technology for lightsaber duels was so archaic in 1977. This scene could have been so much better. Even though he is older, Obi-Wan still probably would have been able to flip, fight harder, etc. But without this movie, technology would not be what it is in movies today. The film industry owes a huge debt to George Lucas and ILM.

Different music? I haven't watched A New Hope in a while, but that's what I'm guessing. They changed a LOT of music in Jurassic Park and The Lost World. John William's great music never gets what it deserves.
