Duramax is a joint venture between isuzu and GM, should say was, it is 100% owned by GM now. The motor was built off of an isuzu platform, but designed by engineers working for Duramax Ltd. I wonder too if he was running Efi, with it and several other mods one guy ran mid 12s with a stock turbo, but your right, still an impressive truck.

Im a Duramax Fan, i own a 2006 2500HD Chevy and its a special model chevy does NOT offer to civilians. I own it because i bought it from a guy i know. The truck was actually used by the Gov. for border patrol. Its a high performance engine that has real some ballz. its completely stock and i have raced and beaten a Nissan 350Z, its was funny as hell. Go DURAMAX, btw, to all those ford fans... I'd rather be cumminz than strokin

@7150285 The division of isuzu motors that makes the Duramax is also co-owned by General Motors Corporation, so with that being said, it is a very GM oriented product (manufactured in Moraine, OH USA!!!). A BAD ASS Product too if I might say, I have an '06 Chevy 2500 HD with the Duramax-6 speed Allison combo, and I LOVE IT!!! The truck in this video is bad ass, mine is stock for now (with the exception of a turbo back straight pipe of course).

Banks is a good way to start. I Started with a Banks ram air and Technicooler on my D-max. I now have RBP exhaust and tuner. New turbo for higher boost. PPE deul fueler(2nd injection pump) allison stage 5 tranny kit, to handle the power.
