I just thought of this but if Branka took the entire house down of 300 dwarves and they were down there 2 1/2 years and that went on for weeks... There would be tons of Darkspawn with like a 150 broodmothers spitting out darkspawn like an MG spew out bullets...

Damn, I just finished this area and hell, I was so ready to get out of there. The bit where she starts chanting and you cant even see her was one big NOPE for me. They did this area really well IMO, it does a good job of getting under your skin.

it was laryn. hespith told the warden how she drank her own husband's blood and ate her friends, thus growing to a broodmother(while mutating through the taint of the darkspawn)

first time i did Broodie i had no healers, only a shit load of Polutrices xD but it wasnt that tough i just got all my to attack Brood, and then shale walking around taunting :P

It took me hours to beat this level!!! Personally I think the chant is a bit weird and creepy. This is such a great game I barely got it last week and now I am on the last level on the hardest mode! Oh and thanks for posting this up here I have been looking everywhere for this chant.

Unless you're playing a mage, you really should visit the Circle Tower first, because you get the best healer in the game.

brood mother is easy with Oghrin at 42 str you can give him either BD armor or Juggernaut and he is nearly invincible,have Wynne healing and Main with Juggernaut then just combat the tentacles,they will fall slowly but you will not die,then when its just her its tooooooooo easy

i used sten as a tank. conspiracy high and strenght.

alistair or oghren as second tanks/dps.

and morrigan as a dps.

Sten isn't as good a tank than Loghain,and Alistair isn't worth keeping because you gain the,quite possibly,best tank in the game.He is also a good DPS
