If there was no Rasputing there was no Lenin OR Alexei (since he did save him) and if there was no abdication there was no captivity (Nicholas abdicated for Russia. Great and sad video, it could make one cry. Every time I see the scenes of their execution, I just wish it wouldn't happen and that the troops wouldn't come in. It's impossible to watch these scenes without being touched, although I know them so well.
