MAC's Vanilla pigment is amazing. it's both golden and pinkish, which might sound weird, but it works on almost all skin tones. i don't look good in cool highlighters (white, silver, pink) but Vanilla is perfect, without being too yellow or anything. it's super pigmented but sheer at the same time, making it blend into the skin really well. it has beautiful microshimmer and it never looks too white because it's super blendable! check it out if you're interested :)
i'm 14 years old, my mom is Caribbean and my dad is white so my skin tone is a bit of a darker tanish color. I wanted to start wearing makeup more often to school since i'm beginning high school this fall. i love the way highlighters look on my cheekbones! I was wondering what kind you would recommend for me :)
@floopa101212 Hi! I would recommend Girl Meets Pearl for your skin tone because the gold is so flattering on tan skin :) It is a little on the pricey side though, if you are looking for an inexpensive alternative, Physician's Formula makes great bronzy highlighters for under $15.

Mac Candlelight is gorgeous. It seems to be finer milled and less glittery than the other light toned MSFs. More of a sheen than glittery.
