im a tree climber who helped with the clean up! i climbed 40m gum trees that had been twisted in half and the head of the tree which probally weighs around 5-10 tonnes was in the next street!!it was insane!!epic storm
Looking a lot better now.. took 4 days of chopping and dragging to get it all out.. we only got our phone line re-strung today. That was one serious storm !
Hi, we're at 152 Settlement road, we've cleared most of that mess in our back yard but still a lot to do this weekend.. our roof is damaged and the rains been coming through.. the council put some tarps up on wednesday night.. its been a hell of a week. PS I saw a trampoline across the valley, maybe its your neighbours !
Hi, I can't believe my eyes, I am almost in tears at the sight of what was once my beautiful garden, that I worked so hard to create. I now live in London & heard about the storms back home so just jumped on youtube & this is the second video I watched. I instantly recognised the massive Gum tree on the left side & the split palm in the middle & realised that was my old back garden. I just can't believe it. I hope you & your family are ok & the house is not to damaged. Best of luck.
I was stuck in the middle of the 85 storm down near the hyperdome used to be wildwaters slide park it was the the most frightening experience, this is by far more intense 1/100 event

Shit. What street are you in?
Hilder Road and Gap State both got pulverised..
Pretty shocking.
Our neighbour came over and said
"have you seen our trampoline?"
hehe I thought that was quite funny..
