I have PCOS and CELIAC DISEASE, the most undiagnosed and easily treated disease that causes stomach problems. PROBIOTICS, GLUTEN FREE AND a SIMPLE BLOOD TEST CAN TELL YOU demand the blood test. Other symptoms under or over weight, various gastric complaints, IBS, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain and bloating. Anemia, Crohns, PCOS, gastric ulcers, parasitic infection skin disorders, nerves, numbness in arms and legs: all COULD BE CELIAC!
i was diagnosed with pcos at 15 and since then i have lost 21 pounds, but now im having alot of trouble losing the rest of the weight any tips??? and i would really like some advice about the excess body hair because now that i lost wieght and im seventeen i get very uncomfortable wearing certain clothing and i feel very self concious around my friends and especially guys.... will this be a problem in marriage will losing more weight help!!!! please help anybody
@ jznt how balanced is your diet? i know that anti-oxidant rich foods may help, as decreasing consumption of red meats & eating leaner meats & fish, staying away from the processed and refined foods, lots of water (your weight divided by two is the # of fl. oz you should drink per day to have a clear system).
i'm very proud of you for your physical fitness, and happy for your weight loss! i just don't know of any other way to combat hirsutism naturally. <3
@Forlaniz3 well for a couple of months now i have cut out all junk food and fast food but my weight has maintained the same maybe i should try excersing more times a week and thank you for the comment losing the weight was so hard but it was all worth it . the hair has reduced a lil bit with the weight loss but maybe with more weight loss it can reduce even more thanks everyone for the advice and support
@jznt exercise, but don't kill yourself, i.e. don't overdo it! :D as long as you incorporate weights/weight training, you'll continue to burn and keep it off, and as i've read over the years, weightloss really does help with so many things. keep up the good work, darling, and if possible, make a switch from products you currently use to organic or less toxic things. that might also help as well.
Ur video was well done. I too suffer with pco, but u have encouraged me to fight this battle. I am tired of being sick and tired. I will lose this weight. Thank you for being so strong and determined. U have inspired me to live. God Bless you!
hey really good video i was diagnosed this year, i am 16, and i am currently trying to find a diet and excercise plan that will work for me, your video gave me more hope then i had before :D thank you! You are a beautiful person!!!!
very inspiring video. i wish the best for you. i believe the main thing is to aim for a healthy bmi (body mass index). they have online calculators that can help you find out where you need to be. i also agree with you that it's very important to eat clean, fresh foods as close to their origin as possible. Water is another biggie. i also use to take yasmin, but i stopped b/c i could no longer afford the meds. give herbal meds a try...vitex, chinese angelica, are good ones that help w/this
ya dern skippy it isn't easy living with pcos, however, i'm glad that you're embarking on taking steps towards living a healthier life. it may sound crazy, but i think there is a way to be cured of this (and a bunch of other stuff), but a CATHARSIS is needed. call it a "spiritual and emotional enema" if you will. *smile*
in 2004, she (physician) tried to push metformin on me, but i chose to take the pill. people seem to NOT understand that metformin was designed for folks who have diabetes. i don't have diabetes--i'm insulin resistant, which can lead to that, but as long as i eat right and exercise then i won't develop it.
You're an inspiration to me.I also have PCOS. I was diagnosed when I was 12. I'm 27 now. I'm currently trying to get pregnant . MY GYN advised weight loss 1st
Great JOB CYSTER!!! I have had PCOS since January 2007. I think its awesome that you made this video. When I get the chance I will some day. Anyway great job and good luck!!!
now, you're one person i'd like to get to know! you seem all fun and energetic! makin' vids is soooo simple! if you've got a webcam or digital camera that records and Windows Movie Maker---oh, you're good to go girl! lol
