Algebra is not hard, try a litle harder next time and you'll be able to do it! Wasting your time with writing songs in school is not smart. Save that for your evenings instead.

Your chorus is very well written but your verse is very filler (meaning its contrasting the vivaciousness of the chorus). Personally I feel you should never sacrifice quality at any part, but it does fit your style. I like the style of your writing, but your content seems a little forced. You probably know this though. But, I like that more then if you just wrote about some boy. I feel you'd make some very good songs if you bounced ideas off of someone more experienced, though. Still good job.

Oh, I hardly meant myself. I'm not experienced at all. I'm your age. I meant your producer, or whoever is giving you your creative support. It'd be very interesting to see if you had a musical mind outside of your voice, which makes a Christina Aguilera from a Jessica Simpson. You should strive for the former, but I have a feeling she's probably one of your influences.

This was probably the least thought about song i've ever made ahaha.... i made it in 15 minutes at the last second for my math class... But trust me.. i totally understand what you're talking about. I do have influences in music, but it is definitely not Christina Aguilara or jessica simpson haha. It's more like Norah Jones or John Mayer. :)

Oh really? I apologize than, it's just your singing voice has much more passion than Norah Jones (like Aguilera)--not so much here but in your Joss Stone cover of a cover.

I wouldn't have guessed John Mayer, because I didn't notice any of his guitar style in your playing. It sounds a lot more free form and technical compared to him (Your transition from verse to chorus as an example).

You notice a lot of things hahaha... I think it's cool :) I don't try to be like the people that influence me, I just respect their music and their ability to write amazing lyrics... I like to think I have my own style when it comes to my music. Even though my lyrics in this song are not up to par with sunrise or neon haha. They have an honest way of writing their songs. The songs they create are always beautiful and raw, and i only hope i will be able to do the same some day :)
