  • its the same as the infiniti fx

  • nah, the fx has the sound of the old g35 coupe

  • of all cars, why should the FX have that sound? After all, It is a crossover.

  • who knows...all i know is that when the pass by me when im walking they are loud as hell

  • tell me about it!

  • I've noticed that too. A lady in my neighborhood has an fx35 and it's noisy. I think the V8 is quieter

  • ive only heard the v8 about twice but im pretty sure youre right about that

  • its the SUV with the heart of a sports car

  • yeah if i ever had to buy an suv it would either be the fx (which ive never driven) or the x6 which i got to drive on bmw's south carolina track, and it was nice

  • are you thinking of the 09 fx?

  • yeah thats what im talking about...chances are i would never really buy an SUV though

  • true, but would you buy one built on a 350Z platform? huh huh?

  • nah, its still too big and too high up for me. anything i cant drop into i wont buy. id rather have the 350z on the 350z platform than the fx on the 350z platform

  • yeah the 08 and older FXs have the G35 coupe engine and exhaust note and the 09+ FXs have the 08 G35 sedan engine and exhaust note

  • really so the new fx is quieter?

  • @Mikefx3508 Haha actually they all have the same 3.5L engine as far as I know, there is no different "coupe" or "sedan" engine.

  • I think they produce that exhause note by reflecting the sound waves in the muffler or something. Because do you guys kinda hear this ecohing sound when the gas is stepped on?

  • yeah around like 2000 rpm i get that beautiful loud exhaust sound

  • are you thinking of the 09 fx?

  • nope the 08

  • still cool

  • best exhaust note under 36k. :)

  • Sounds good, but it also sounded cold. Let it warm up, then let's hear it.

  • looks like the nissan alitima coupe anyone else think so bigger engine tho

  • No, noone else thinks so because the Altima Coupe looks NOTHING like the G37. The only thing thats even remotely close is the roofline. The G is sex on wheels; the Altima Coupe is a decent looking car, but the rear is fucked up somehow. I actually prefer the new Accord Coupe over the Altima (in appearance, nothing touches a VQ in that class)

  • let me think.... no

  • sounds mad nice

  • to the first people who commented, wtf how he gonna fuck up the car he barely accelerated if thats fast for u guys, u guys are wack

  • Thank you. I really found their comments hillarious. I was actually there and know he was well below 4k rpm. I guess it's good in a way too, that they think he was goin fast... shows just how great the G's exhaust note is.

The real fun came later when i test drove it and had it around 6k RPM =) Still had plenty more to go.

  • first people who commented are fucken stupid, he didnt even go that fast wtf u guys are dumb

  • Any mechanic, machinist, or engine builder will tell you that internal parts need time to seat and wear against one another, regardless of the make of car, motorcycle, etc. I wonder if this salesman still has his job?

  • Nice to see how this dealership abuses cars before picked up by the customer. A brand new car with less than 5 miles on it must be gently broken in. driving it hard straight from the factory is harmfull to the motor and transmission.

  • your fuckin stupid thats a test driving car/loaner after the car gets 5,000 miles on it they have to sell it infiniti dosent care how hard its driven or if it harms the motor or not

  • Actually the best way to break in the engines is to go hard on them.. that will insure that the car will give you maximum power for a long time.. because the pistons go FULLY in the socket...you know what I mean??

  • yeah just like a bitch

  • abuse? how do you even know it hasn't been broken in yet?

  • I hate reading punk-ass thug remarks, like yours. One thing's for sure, speaking like that, you'll never make enough money to drive one of these, unless you're a valet.

  • louder than the 35

  • true but is that worth the extra money for a car that basically is a g35 with better exhaust noise?

  • Just by the name alone, G35 indicates a 3.5 liter V6, G37 means it's a 3.7 liter...with dual throttle bodies, and a state of the art variable cam system that helps power AND emmisions, etc.

  • looks awesome and sounds ever better
