I wanted it so much... And I have it now... And... Its fucking awesome!!!! 8 fucking gegabytes! Video quality in the daylight is fucking awesome, even better than my 12MP Nikon camera and same goes to photos. For it's price, its the best phone I've ever had... I don't regret buying it. So what that I can't use many apps and games and such shit? instead I can watch movies on it and the battery is strong enough to watch two movies or maybe even three (in the 3gp and wav formats of course)

Guys, trust me, don't buy this phone. It's slow and boring! It runs Symbian s60 v5 but you can't download any free apps on it! You can't download games or apps from Ovi because it's a fucking Sony Ericsson. There are no apps on Playnow! WTF is this shit? Android FTW there are soooo many free apps and games to download and it is faster and fun to use. I'm getting the new xperia mini soon. I want to throw this slow shitty phone out of the window!!!

I have a Sony ericsson Vivaz, not a good touchscreen phone, i do like the alpha button use for my bigger and uncontrolable fingers, but i bought a HTC trophy it's, so much better but i hate the typing :( small buttons ! i wan't alpha :D. But vivaz is good for everyday use :) i have the vivaz pro btw just get the normal vivaz !!

@tingsh321 One of my favorite Symbian phones, the Nokia E71, is very fast and smooth. Of course, it doesn't look nearly as good as a modern smartphone, but the advantage is that its battery life is incredibly (the E71 even surpasses my iPhone 4) and it has many excellent functionality built in (phone recording, bluetooth transfers, MP3 ringtones, etc).

The Vivaz, on the other hand is slow, despite its 720Mhz CPU. I have no idea why.

Don't get this phone. Simple, It's a hassle all the time, the keys while composing a text are far too small and far to sensitive. The shutter speed is sooooooo slow, granted it's a good camera and I have no complaints about the quality of the picture. The whole OS is outdated as it's symbian. Far better value for money out now in 2011, Get the ARC if your a sony ericsson fan and can afford it!

People whaaa but remember to UPGRADE THE FIRMWARE..it clearly states this in the manual several times when you first open the box. I think the average nub nuts dont read the instructions and race in and use the Vivaz and then QQ when it stalls

I have this phone, it has a flash but the touch synchronisation is so fucking lame. Plus, it doesn't work with your fingers, the letters are too small, you have to use a fucking stylus. We are in 2011, Iphone came out in 2007 and it didn't need a stupid stylus!

Got my Vivaz Pro 3 days ago. My Review..

- Its a good phone

- Good camera

- Resistive touch screen (touch it with fingernail make it easier)

- Sound is decent, nokia XM5130 is better

- Battery, after initial charge, i used it a lot to configure all the setting (wifi, themes, profiles, install apps, media, txts, calls etc) still it can reach 2 days, and it can reach max performance after 3-5 charge cycle.

- No lags, no turn off itself

- Worth my money.. USD250, GBP160
