Many years ago - I helped to carry two upright pianos into the Q-Ball Club on North Road in Durham - Freddie played there the night Bill Haley died - We had a minute's silence for Bill - but boy!!! Did we rock that place for the rest of the night!!!! Have some great pics from that night in the family album - it was my wee brother's birthday too.

Another night I went to his 'Farewell Show' and he still had more energy than ever to put on a great show.
