I'd like to compliment the maker of the video for not making his point too obvious, and although I doubt his point was recognized by a lot of viewers, I thought the contrasts in it created a fitting image of the costs of the worldwide megalomany that has consumed our everyday life.
Ehm, let me shed some light on this seemingly mysterious video. Malabar is a region of India that has recently lost about 95% of it's rainforests due to human exploatation of it's wooden wealth. While people in the video were living their daily routines a part of our planet was being rapidly changed, in the worst possible way. This happens all the time, far away from our eyes. So, you see, the name of the band, the name of the song and the course of the video, it all makes perfect sense.
