  • I love LBJ. And I dont give a shit what anyone thinks about that

  • "where wold you like them sent"

    "the white house"

  • Lyndon B Johnson is a traitor to America.

He ordered the murders of us servicemen with the help of israel

youtube USS Liberty - these sailors are still seeking justice for being stabbed in the back by Johnson - they are still being ignored.

Lyndon B Johnson got the Israeli military to attack a US Naval vessel, to use it as a pretext to go to war with Egypt and blame it on them, it was a false flag

Johnson killed American Servicemen. Go research, it's all true.

  • Hey, Bonzo made to DC before Reagan. Remember this, Ron was an actor, his training thus his career were based on convincing you the role he plays is real, Ollie North was just a minor actor later in the movie!!! It will never end!!!

  • Here is my question. What in the world would Johnson have need of either 'money' or 'his knife' while serving as President? Could you imagine Obama or Bush 'making change' or pulling out their belt knife??

  • This is hilarious...it's like Pa Kettle goes to Washington and ding-dang if he don't become President!

  • @whatanightmare1 It's all charming until you realize that 'Landslide Lyndon' left a trail of bodies on his way to Washington....

  • @WhyMeMoFo Oh, I don't find anything charming about LBJ at all.

  • @WhyMeMoFo Did you miss the sarcasm?

  • Can you imagine what the sealed J. Edgar tapes on Kennedy have? 9 hours of pillow talk with Marilyn.

  • Now I need about 6 pairs for summer wear.

yes sir!... powder on Lady's face...

click my username or search Leaked White House Video for more funny stuff

  • Wow. Lyndon Johnson. A true-blue Texan.

  • @efb1991 Real true-blue Texans say "scuse me" when they burp.

  • did he ever say 'down where my johnson hangs'?

  • Ahahah awesome.

  • In 1964, I voted for the first time. I was 21. I didn't follow the election speeches too closely. We hadn't gotten into Vietnam that heavily. I voted for Goldwater because my parents did. But I knew I didn"t want to vote for LBJ simply because he acted like a hillbilly redneck and since I live in southwestern Ohio, we had more than our share of hillbillies. Your tapes helped to convince me that I made the decision even though LBJ won.

  • @TheFrontrowkid no you didnt make the right choice, Barry Goldwater was insane, he said he would use nuclear weapons in vietnam.... LBJ is probably the most underrated president ever, because of the vietnam Quagmire which was actually started by Kennedy( the most overrated presidet), LBJ passed important civil rights legislation, medicare for senior citizens, supported education, and made programs to fight poverty that were pretty sucessful

  • @delxart Johnson made the huge commitment in Vietnam not Kennedy. Technically, Kennedy inherited the Vietnam situation from Eisenhower as you may recall. Kennedy's troop commitment there was in the thousands. Johnson sent over hundreds of thousands after the Tonkin gulf incident. Johnson admitted to a biographer Doris Kearns Goodwin that: 'the kids were right, I blew it in Vietnam'.

  • @lancer89032 Well Kennedy was the first to send troops and when Johnson became president his focus was the great society, but things in south Vietnam started deteriorating and the government was losing its grip. He was then left with 2 choices backdown or escalate the war. If he backed down he would look weak and lose all suport for his great society programs. So he was kind of damned if he did damned if he didnt, and he knew that from the start. Thats why i blame JFK not LBJ.

  • @delxart Eisenhower was the first to send troops. When JFK took office there were 900 American troops in Vietnam.

  • Too bad he wasn't hanged by his long nuts. He was truly emotionally ill. He used to make his aides talk to him while he was taking a shit. He got off on degrading them. Talking this way to a common small business man (and belching) is a way of demeaning him and showing how unimportant he is compared to the Great LBJ. And the whole Country Boy act he put on was as phony as a three-dollar bill. This guy had been in Washington for 30 years.

  • @boc234 Not only that he had them give him foot baths- while he was taking shits.

Johnson was corrupt, shady, unlikable and had a web of ill-gotten connections. Very paradoxical man.

  • like riding a wire fence.

  • LBJ had the best presidential quotes of all time!

  • "bung hole".......nuff said.

  • thumbs up if Adam Carolla Sent you here!

  • rfk said lbj's private persona was mean and evil. lol down where ur nuts hang-lol-did u hear the burp?

  • honey im on hold for a long time....well its ok its the President then....

  • He said, I need something to wear "when I come in from work". Sounds like he'd been plowing all day or something. Even though he was the President, he still carried his knift like he might need to cut the twine on a bale of hay or something. I think he probably had people who could have taken care of that for him but old habits die hard and he still carried a knife. Wonder what he bought with the change he carried.

  • I have a new love for this man.

  • Hilarious...! :D

  • i love how you can hear the reel turn. it's very relaxing. thud... thud...thud...thud.

  • Very classy Colonel Cornpone (bet his little Pork Chop like them too)--Jackie B.K. Onassis

  • This isn't about Republican or Democrat. He's a Texan. End of story.

  • @TheAle89515 The is no Republican or Democrat. Behind closed doors they are the same, period. It's a corp. Wake up.

  • LBJ was real

  • Stay classy, Mr. President.

  • hahahahhaha bunghole

  • thumbs up if Jim Gaffigan sent you here

  • @monkeyg333

norm macdonald on the tom green show sent me here

  • 4:08

"... where the zipper e-- [belch] ends, round under my, back to my bunghole."

  • why did LBJ tape a conversation of him ordering clothes?LOLOL

  • @RonDarling12 they're suppose to tape every convo in oval office apparently.

  • Wait, Haggar as in "Haggar slacks?"

  • @bondfool yup

  • I think I like him better now

  • My money and my knife. That's what the fuck I'm talkin about!

  • There were many people and departments in Washington dc angry at JFK. Ask yourself, "whom had the most to gain if JFK were killed". CIA wanted him gone from bay of pigs incident, JFK threatened CIA he would dissolve CIA, NSA wanted JFK gone because JFK wanted to tell public about our gov relationships with alien visitors, JFK signed executive orders to pull all troops out of Vietnam by 1965, lbj was about to be indicted for 16 counts of murder including his own sister he had killed on X-Mass da

  • Classy. xD

  • sounds like prez got some low hanging nuts.

  • Folks please believe me as I can't tell you who I am nor how I know this,... Lbj, Hoover, gov of Texas then, Nixon, all had JFK killed! Lbj was the leader and creator of killing JFK as lbj was about to have been indicted on 16 counts of murder and 4 counts of election fraud and tampering with the votes. Hoover took control of all evidence on JFK murder, lbj had his attorney, mr Clark arrange everything and was paid 6 million dollars by the Texas oil reserve owners to have JFK shot!!!!!

  • @Bidil6

LBJ assassinated JFK! Of course! That must be why the Fraggles have left Fraggle Rock and moved into my vag! And why my neighbor is secretly Luputia, the goddess of happy slapping! Maybe it's even why Huckleberry Hound is sending me marriage proposals from space...God, the possibilities..o_O

  • he is so specific

  • You're telling me. Now I can't think of the word "bunghole" without thinking about the 36th President

  • Who elected this guy? lol

  • @jmkpns

uh no one buddy. He took the presidency after JFK was shot in the head. remember?

  • @warml He wasn't elected in 1964? Remember?

  • @jmkpns

LBJ was sworn in as President on Air Force One at Love Field Airport in Dallas on November 22, 1963 two hours and eight minutes after President Kennedy was assassinated in Dealey Plaza in Dallas. LBJ was never voted for by anyone, he had no choice in the matter. if the president dies or gets killed or gets too sick to function, the VP automatically becomes President.

"He wasn't elected in 1964? Remember?" what does that even mean? he was sworn in on 1963! I'm South Korean btw haha

  • @jmkpns Yes he was elected in 1964, by the largest margin of any Democratic President since FDR. No Democratic President since LBJ has matched his electoral record in '64.

Side piece of trivia: Johnson was the last President to take Virginia in an election until Obama in 2008. Even Carter lost Virginia (and he swept the rest of the South in '76).

  • @jmkpns who died and made him boss.

  • @nognilk Yah really.

  • What a jackarse this guy was - and a liar who manufactured the Gulf of Tonkin incident so he could hit back at the No. Vietnamese and get the cover he wanted and shut down the hawks he was worried about hurting him in the upcoming 64 election. That ultimately killed 50,000 Americans. And dummies today think Bush was bad. He was truly attacked on his watch.

  • not!!

  • That is o0ne down to earth, plain speaking man!

  • LMFAO!! LMFAO!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

He's rode a wire fence?!?! OUCH!!! LOLOL!! This is funny as hell right next to Kennedy and those "silly bastards" with the furniture.

  • "Let's see if you can't leave me about an inch from where the zipper e- *belch* ends uh, round, uh, under mah, back in mah bunghole." lol

  • Let Yo Nuts Hang Mothafucka!!!!

  • lbj is a true cretin

  • I love this guy. Our last great president.

  • real classy guy

  • oh man, good stuff

  • I'd hate to be on the receiving end of this weird conversation.

  • HAHA!

"... where the zipper e-- [belch] ends, round under my, back to my bunghole."

Best line of the entire conversation!

  • "down where yur nuts hang"....LMAO!

  • JFK's shadow would forever hang over LBJ's administration, becuase Johnson never would have become president had JFK not been killed!!!

  • that tape noise is making a pretty cool beat.

  • LBJ was a great president DESPITE Vietnam. Can you imagine how much better he would've been without it?

Thank you LBJ for changing this country for the better!

  • @AlecBoy006 Are you kidding? His domestic policy left us with a bloated government and mountains of debt. He was a failure as a policy maker, and a failure as a human being:

  • @evanezer999 I think not.

  • @AlecBoy006 How can you say that LBJ ruined this country and never even tried to attempt what Kennedy did. LBJ has got to be the most wasteful president i have ever seen Kennedy was the best president we ever had and LBJ took him away from us TURE Ameicans

  • @JohnKennedyFan Come on man. What did Kennedy ever do? Kennedy and Ronald Reagan are the two most overrated presidents in our nation's history. LBJ one of the most underrated.

  • @AlecBoy006 changing this country for the better?you mean the civil rights act of 1965?this was passed by Eisenhower in 1957, not by lbj,lbj just used it to gain votes from blacks.Remember what he said: "That'll keep the niggers voting for democrats for 200 years".Plus lbj wanted war in vietnam from 1961 so he conspired against jfk.Don't forget these FACTS.

  • @trollamenos What about the Civil Rights Act of 1964? Or the extension of it in 1968? You mean to tell me Eisenhower ended segregation and discrimination in sale of housing too?

Another JFK conspiracy nutjob. I haven't seen that before.

  • @AlecBoy006 the truth is lbj didn't give a shit about black people,he did it only for their votes. The first act was passed in 57,but lbj and most democrats didn't want it this time(jfk excluded).

ps im not a republican and im not american

  • @trollamenos

Funny story about that- it was originally Nixon's bill. LBJ killed it in congress, only to come up with his own.

  • @tehmaninblack Wrong actually he made sure the bill got passed by takingout the parts that would've made sure it didn't get passed at all--the parts that would've offended Southern Democrats and Republicans. Better a half assed Civil Rights Bill get passed than no bill passed at all.

  • now, with all fairness, Jellolion, LBJ did indeed have a lot of great ideas regarding social programs and domestic policy, but none of it worked until Richard Nixon applied good ol' Republican pragmatism to LBJ's "Great Society" vision. And there's really no need to trash JFK, especially if you're unwilling to trash Ronald Reagan and the Bushes (thanks Ralph Reed and Pat Robertson)

  • trash reagan and the bushes? Thats like shooting fish in a barrel. Why bother?

  • Texas crude!

  • God, such a tedious discussion.

  • 3:32 to 4:20...LOL....classy!

  • @WayneInSF I know I giggled so much!

  • Joe Haggar was not a tailor. His family owned the Haggar Clothing Company in Dallas. LBJ was ordering custom clothing from a large manufacturing company.

The location of their company on Lemmon Ave was not close to the downtown parade route where Kennedy was assassinated.

  • I looked on google maps and that Lemmon avenue or street in Dallas is actually located not far to the north i think from where JFK was shot.

  • Oh please, comparing LBJ, whom I am know real fan of, to Hitler is just absurd. Grow up already.

  • Actually that war was started by Eisenhower, Larry. You might need to review your history before you make obnoxious comments like that.

  • Eisenhower and Kennedy had sent a small number of troops for police/military training. And Kennedy was resisting requests to escalate. When Johnson became president, that tragically changed.

  • The Cuban missile crisis weakened the Soviet Union's position and that allowed the United States to broker an escalation, but the Cuban escapade was Eisenhower's baby with Dulles and McCone later on. Johnson acted on policy that was set in motion by men in front of him.

  • lbj executed rolling thunder , massivley esculuting the war , the gulf of tonkin resolution esculated us involvement incredibly also , there is solid evidence , the submarine , uss turner joy was not even hit- it had been fabricated to give lbj the chance to hold high the reputation of the us and bomb the s'hell ( nh pun intended ) outo north vietnam.

  • oh come on. A small number? When JFK enetered office, there were about 200 US troops in vietnam. At the time of his death, there were about 18,000 US troops in vietnam. This was in direct conflict with the Geneva resolution, and also Diem didnt want all of those US troops in Vietnam either. Thats why he was killed. JFK created the vietnamese air force, US planes, US pilots. By mid 1962, JFK's "interdiction" bombing was killing on average 500 civilians per week. Small number of troops my ass.

  • johnson inherited the mess of the coup left by JFK, vietnam was a basket case, the government was in complete chaos, and the viet cong were about to win the war, because JFK thought it was a great idea to take out the only strong leader south vietnam had. Why? Because Diem was in the way of JFK's showcase war against the communists. Diem didnt want the cold war fought out in vietnam.

  • I think it is funny how LBJ always talked about how poor he was. In reality, he was a wealthy man, but he had grown up poor and kept that same mindset.

  • Funny. LBJ talks about his nuts and his bunghole and burps in between these earthy allusions. It's pure LBJ. Too bad this humorous tape serves as an excuse for misinformed jerks like "Jello" to make bigoted remarks about JFK, a great man who died for his country and whose shoes that insipid little moron couldn't shine.

  • I like the belch at 4:14.

  • amazing!!! Not only was LBJ the architecht of the Great society, the civil rights president, with a vision that he carried out that resulted in lasting change and great improvement in the US, no poverty, medical care, education, civil rights, voting rights. In addition, as you can hear on this very recording, LBJ designed the "dockers" slacks in his spare time. Hagar went on to make millions from "dockers", designed by lbj so they did not cut him.

  • The Civil Wrongs president the saboteur of Vietnam, the Soviet enabler and Treason enabler and fascist jackass who destroyed America's economy and drastically reduced our standards of living.

  • rude and crude

  • NOTE: With Barr McClellan's book, we now know the ID of the fourth shooter: Mac Wallace, hired by LBJ's attorney, Edward A Clark!

  • Johnson was behind the killing of JFK, Ruby is caught on record saying that.

I hope that sack of shit Johnson is burning in Hell.

  • Poor Ladybird. I'm sure she was all too familiar with where his nuts hang.

  • is this THE haggar slacks guy? i got some of his _slacks_.

why is the president carrying a knife?

    hello? ....... hello? ....,,, beuller?

  • Joe Haggar is my great great uncle on my mothers side. He was the brother of my great grandfather Edmond Haggar.

  • this guys hilarious!

  • I always liked LBJ, old school and told it like it was, not what the "sheep" wanted to hear!He had guts and power , all of his enemies resented this. One of our better presidents! History will out!

  • I agree. LBJ is the real thing. LBJ got screwed by the war. I just read an excellent book by the former prime minister of south vietnam Nguyen Cao Ky, called Buddha's child. An excellent book, and it really puts the war in a very different light. Ky says he really liked LBJ too. He said LBJ was a person who he could talk to honestly, man to man. He said Humphrey was a jerk. Ky stopped in Texas on a trip and visited LBJ on his ranch in 1972. I know Mr Johnson. He's a friend of mine.

  • I always was in awe of the power Johnson wielded over the 2 houses. He had the goods on everyone and used it when needed! I think LBJ was the only man J.Edgar Hoover feared in the world!

  • Jeez what a crude dude. LOL

  • LBJ kills JFK!!!

  • thank god someone besides me says this!

    thank you johnpaulolivier

  • The Kennedy's were right.

What a foul hick he was.

    Disgusting pig.

  • No more disgusting than JFK cheating on his wife and sleeping around like a pimp. Get a life. Don't believe all the hype about JFK. LBJ may have been a hick but JFK was a fraud.

  • Lyndon cheated too. He had a secret love-child named Stephen.

Besides, who would say no to Marilyn Monroe?

    Not me.

Kindly refrain from telling me what and what not to believe.

  • You should follow your own advice! If you don't want comments on your statements, then don't post one.

  • "Get a life"?

    Get a brain.

You're nothing but a waste of time and flesh.

  • Wow...such violence in your words....I wish I had your brain.....then I could make stupid statements as well! LOL!

    PS, JFK is still overrated.

  • so is your pathetic excuse for being here on this earth....

your mom is overrated i hope they kill her like they did jfk....

    head shot

  • You are one angry person....Oh, by the way JFK is still a fraud....LOL!

  • yea i am an angry person. Oh by the way jfk was and still is the best president we've ever had!

suck on that. maybe it'll sink in.

  • Whatever....if JFK is the best you can up with then I pray for our nation! I would suggest that you take up another hobby.

  • i pray for our nation too because of ignorant people like you. Anyone who doesn't believe jfk was the best president doesn't deserve to live in my opinion.

"the ignorance of one voter in a democracy, impairs the security of all"

POlitics is my hobby. and from all the ignorant things you've said... i can tell that you are the one that needs a new hobby....

im spot on with my historical facts... you are just sad

  • JFK the best president, how..? He was a pretty good president but he only lived 3 years. Btw your totally wrong about LBJ, he continued JFK's policies and got legislation passed in Congress that JFK couldn't.

  • Thank you for your comments...you are correct.

  • I feel sorry for you if the you really believe that JFK was the best this country could produce....don't let his good looks fool you. It took LBJ's not so good looks to get things done. The fact that you resort to personal attacks to make your point is a clear indication that you are ignorant of the real issues and history of these issues and have nothing else to say. Enough said and end of this conversation.

  • Exactly. I have great respect and admiration for JFK, but these youtube worshippers that idolize him are some of the stupidest people ever. JFK was a good man who tried to do the right thing; but to say he was the best president ever is preposterous. LBJ was actually more liberal than JFK and he knew how to make Congress actually work for their money, and get things done for the people. I just wish people like "pt109girl" lol, would crack open a book and lay off the coolaid.

  • to pt109girl: so you think Kennedy was a better president than Washington, Lincoln and FDR????? You can't be serious. I am not putting Kennedy down (I'm from Massachusetts)....but thats one heck of a long stretch to say kennedy was the best president we ever had. He escalated our involvnent in vietnam, botched the bay of pigs invasion, was totally unfaithful to his wife.....should i go on?

  • spot on with historica facts? ha ha haha this is better than comedy. You are a complete moron know nothing. PT109 girl, Fascists for JFK!!!

  • after the coup, the warnigs from Taylor, Nolting, McCone, Colby, and harkins gave JFK immediately came to pass. It became immediately clear that the generals couldnt shar power, They were already plotting against each other, and nobody was interested in fighting the communists, who in the vacuum had taken huge swaths of the strategically critical delta region, that Diem had cleared out.

  • several things happened in 1963. Diem and Nhu told JFK that they didnt want the troops in vietnam. JFK wanted vietnam to be his "limited war", he thought vietnam was a fine and dandy location to have a little confrontation with the soviets. Also in 1963, Diem started talking with the north. Part of the discussion was a declaration of neutrality for all of vietnam. JFK sent a message to Henry Cabot Lodge "hurry up and get your coup going before neutrality breaks out"

  • To top it off, the north was declaring a war of liberation, and the chinese and soviets started pouring in aid, just as Diem warned. Lodge came back to washington and told the new president "vietnam was going to hell in a handbasket. The will to fight has died with Diem". For LBJ to pull out would mean asssured defeat, handing the soviets a victory, and allowing communist expansion in asia.

  • stupid pt109 girl is one pathetic ignorant bitch. Why do you think thjey wanted LBJ on the ticket in 1960? Because JFK had absolutely no experience or qualifications to be president. And very quickly after getting into the whitehouse, it became very obvious just how much that inexperience would hurt us. And furthermore, JFK stated on the record that he had no visions. "All I know how to do is whin elections. Once I get in there, I dont know what to do". LBJ sure knew what to do.

  • Lodge and JFK were having these euphoric conversations just prior to the coup, telling each other that the war would be won in a matter of weeks after the coup. This puts JFK's statement that we would be out of vietnam by 1965 into context. He didnt mean he would pull out, regardless of the situation. He truly thought we would be leaving vietnam victoriously in 1965. He was so so wrong. Bundy was so embarrased by JFK's statement that he tried to have it expunges from the press.

  • fuzzypants is a sensitive lot. A true bleeding heart , making sure obese people on welfare get their whoppers.

  • your mom is a fraud. do you honestly think that no other president had mistresses! why dont you do yourself a favor and look that one up! ok.

  • LBJ was running congress when JFK was still in diapers, and yet LBJ had to keep his mouth shut while JFK was making all of his screw ups. LBJ was good friends with Diem, and JFK killed him. JFK was the rich kid who never worked a day in his life, and wore a jacket to dinner every night, and slept in silk pajamas. He should have taken some advice from LBJ. LBJ was the real deal. JFK was a phoney.

  • Uh-huh.

  • LBJ is one of our few presidents who wasnt full of himself. "Where do you want me to send those slacks?" "Aaah, the White House." People try to make him out to be some kind of evil entity, people who dont know the first thing about LBJ. He thought he could fix vietnam by talking man to man to Ho Chi Minh. He felt the pain of the casualties. He physically broke down listening to a recording of combat. We will never see another president like LBJ. Palin, very likely, but not LBJ.

  • THANK GOD FOR THAT! I WOULD SHOOT MYSELF IN THE gD HEAD IF WE HAD ANOTHER LYNDON JOHNSON IN THE WHITE HOUSE

  • so what are you for? what are your politics? A fascist for Kennedy? Right wingers for JFK? A complete moron. LBJ made huge improvements to this country. He ended discrimination, ended poverty. In the first 100 day, medicare, educacation, and appalachia. No other president can even come close to LBJ' record. Then comes voting rites, which put the nail in the coffin of racism. LBJ enabled poor blacks to go to school, learn how to read.

  • hey PT109 girl, Obama is like a the ghost of LBJ returned, although he isnt as capable. I have a gun and some ammunition if you need any.

  • shut the F up! jfk had more class in his middle finger than you do in your whole body.

And his wisdom was recognized by all who observed him intimately. you should do some history work.

  • listen to the big bag of hot air. What is JFK's legacy. Lets see. He almost started a nuclear war by putting missiles in turkey, which led to the cuban missile crisis. The bay of pigs, about 500 whores, and he got us in a big mess in vietnam. Thats some wisdom. A bunch of screwups. Everything people like you say JFK could have done, LBJ actually did, and much more. The great society. LBJ changed this country greatly. Voting rights act.

  • There were people actually starving to death in this country before LBJ. Medicaid, and food stamps for the poor. LBJ worked hand in hand with martin luther king, to develop programs to help blacks vote, get jobs, get housing, and much more. This was LBJ's dream. The great society. What was JFK's dream? To win the next election, and find a whore for the night. JFK killed Diem, destabilized the government of vietnam, created a big mess, then told the public that we were winning the war.

  • tell me, what is JFK's legacy? The civil right act was mostly worked on after JFK was already dead. His projects in Latin america all flopped. JFK spent almost all of 1963 trying to figure out how to assasinate Diem. The fact that he actually thought a group of old school vietnamese generals could SHARE POWER was a testiment to his naivety, and total lack of knowledge regarding vietnam. And dont tell me he was pulling out. He carried out the coup a few days before he died.

  • JFK had ample opportunity to get out of vietnam. Like when Diem and his brother told JFK they didnt want all the american troops in their country. He didnt get out. He carried out a coup, and murdered Diem. That was a few days before he died, and that is about as far on the other end of the spectrum that you can get from pulling out. JFK's ccoup was a complete didaster, as all his advisors had warned him. And the end result was a political vacuum, that forced us to send in troops.

  • jellodick........ let me give you a little advice... Go to washington and look at the vietnam memorial.... 75% of those men killed on that wall were serving under your precious LBJ. He had ample opportunity to get out of vietnam as well... but did he NO! why do you think we had race riots, draft card burnings, and all those signs saying LBJ is a babykiller! you seriously are evil if you like lbj. He was dishonest, he was mean, and he was behind the murder of our most beloved president!

  • the sad part was that the best prersident we ever had, the president with huge visions, huge plans, and the wherewithal to accomplish them, got sadled down with the mess in vietnam left by JFK. LBJ has a picture of Diem on the wall of his office. Diem was his friend. He sat in those coup planning meetings and he couldnt say anything. The military advisors, and the CIA advisors were all trying to put it in simpler and simpler terms, so JFK could understand. But he couldnt understand.

  • Diem and Nhu told JFK that they didnt want american troops in vietnam. "all these troops coming into vietnam, completely ignoring vietnamese law and sovereignty, operating at will. They didnt want these troops, and furthermore, the US troops would encourage Chinese and the Soviets to pour in aid, which was exactly what happened. The had agreed to no more than 12,000 troops, but by 1963, JFK had 18000 US troops in country.

  • oh really, I should do some history work? Tell me, which one of JFK's screwups should I study? JFK got elected because he had nicer hair than Nixon. And one thing is clear, JFK was way to young and inexperienced for the job. JFK was a freshman senator when LBJ was the majority leader. JFK caused so many messes that other people had to work to clean up.

  • NO... jfk won the election because people were tired of the same ole same ole in the white house. WE needed a new change of pace... and since LBJ is your God... which one of his mistakes should we study? i guarantee you that LBJ made far more screw ups than kennedy.

the only reason you havent heard any of them is because he cleaned his messes up right after they were committed. Like the car in dallas that JFK was riding In! tell me why would someone so keen on law would clean up a crime scene.

  • JFK never worked a day in his life. He never even knew anybody that worked for a living. He was the epitomy of the spoiled rich kid, with no understanding of how the real world worked. He was not a president of the people, he didnt know anything about the people.

  • If he didn't know anything about the people.... he sure did find out rather quickly all about them. He campaigned in every state... I'd say that's ample time to get to know the people of the U.S.

you should have been alive during lbj's reign... im sure you'd know exactly where his nuts hang too. cuz your a brown noser.. you'd be lbj's monica lawenski

  • Lets see JFK's legacy- 3 years in the whitehouse, in those 3 years, bay of pigs, complete failure in negotiating with Krushchev in vienna, putting missiles in Turkey and insigating the cuban missile crisis, which he almost got us all fried. (

  • JFK relies on luck. He was pathologically addicted to risk) he confronted the soviet navy, not realizing they had subs in water bristling with nuclear missiles, jfk put the Bath party in power in Iraq, through a coup, a buch of screwy assasination attempts of castro, all failures, failure in Laos, and his biggest failure screwup of the centrury-the assasination of Diem. Wow, thats a lot of legacy packed into 3 years. How did have time to find a different floozy to hump every night?
