  • Any one knows about EPA recommendation on choice of cathodic protection for sacrificial anode systems? The least toxic material that is practical should be chosen. In order of preference: magnesium, aluminum, then zinc. Quote: EPA Recommended Best Management Practices (Part 2.2.7)
