  • that was a fantastic demo! really showed some great real time modulation! i will posting a demo of my new 100m soon. hopefully i do as well as you did!

  • @XYtoTheDoubleG

Thanks! Looking forward to your 100m demo.

  • Wicked demo man, sounds amazing! I have a system 100 (not a 100m) and it sounds very different. I would love to get a system 100m too but I don't have the money or space at the moment. Anyway, I'm looking forward to checking out more of your system 100m demos!

  • @AndroidStroll

    glad you enjoyed the video!

  • 0:44 what a sound :)

  • @phobosazazel81

yeah OSC sync sounds awsome on this synth but very different to say Pro1 or Source which also have amazing OSC sync sound

  • Refurbished MC-4B?? What did you have to do for yours? I received mine back after about 13 years without it, last year. Each of the pushbuttons have failed, though the rest of the machine appears functional. By chance if you had to replace any pushbuttons, if you could tell me where you sourced them from that would be wonderful! :)

Great pair of sequences as well. Makes the System 100M sound wonderful. (Weren't happy with mine in the mid 80's. Thought it's filter were too thin.)

  • @dolphinicus

I had to remove all the rust on it, apply the protective varnish, change the side woods and other things.

Three keys didn't work and I ordered them from eBay - before finding any I scouted for them for months... I haven't seen any available anywhere in ages. Some parts are very hard to find :(

  • @dracena Damn. :( Thank you greatly for your reply though! :) I'll have to go the route I didn't wish to and source the closest footprint momentaries that I'm able to. These little buggers are well sealed though, I may try to disassemble one. If It breaks beyond usefulness, it were dead anyways. If I'm able to repair it though, I'll photo further of them and / or shoot a video of it. This'll be way back on the 'backburner' tho as I've still much to build.

    Looking 4ward 2 more vids from u.

  • Great stuff, good programming! Love the feeling, and the System 100's sound. Thanks. ;-)

  • Nice demo.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • your hands look so young... how old are you?

awesome vid by the way . incredible sound

  • this is SICK!

    love it man. good stuff.

  • Thanks man!

  • Please do more mc-4 vids. Maybe even a tutorial video.

  • will try do some more...

  • Do you know if it's possible to play two sequences at the same time with a Juno 60 ? And bonus question on two differents patches ? Thanks !

  • Yes you can play more than one sequence at the same time on a juno 60 - if you have sequencer like the mc4 plus op8 cv/gate to dcb converter. Or if no mc4 but you have more than one monophonic cv/gate sequencer (eg 2 csq 600's) plus the op8. Also you can play along with a sequence manually on the keyboard (avoiding the same keys otherwise it will only play the one note at that time obviously). All this provided you don't overstep the 6 notes max at the same time.

  • But unless you have a non-standard/modified juno 60 then no, it won't play 2 different patches, only one, as it's not multi-timbral nor does it have a split keyboard (unlike say the jupiter 8). hope that helps

  • I love my MC4

  • me too :))

  • i hope i'll be able to afford this things some day too... i want also!

  • Terrific work; I like the 100m a lot. I'd be grateful for another MC4 demo sometime. I've never actually used one, and have always wondered if the user experience is as bad as some reports on the internet suggest.

  • Thanks!!

Yes I'm planing to do another video of MC-4. This time together with my clone of Korg MS02 (not MS20) triger-voltage converter - it transforms V/Oct to Hz/Volt so i can control korg MS20 with MC4 or if I use the trig converter on the MC02 clone I can control Moogs with It.

And I don't find iMC4 too difficult to program. :)

  • That brings me back to Kraftwork days...

I miss that, tones you had to work for...

    myspace/Peace Mafia

  • Thanx for this demo of the MC-4. The only one I found so far here. Front 242 also used this one on the first album GEOGRAPHY. Nice sequencing and echo!

  • I heard that the MC4b was used by Human League, Vince Clarke, Kontour, Kraftwerk etc... looks like a cool sequencer. Is it easy to use?

  • it is quite simple to use once you get used to programming it. actually it's not that hard to learn what all those those numbers mean and after you learn that all you have to do is a matter of simple "mathematic calculations"... and the manual is very helpul and it's not that awful and uncomprehensible is the rumour goes...

  • Fantastic video and great sound! I would love to see and hear more of your 100m.

  • was fun today to play with that system 100m

  • That's a very very very nice sound!!!

  • sounds very nice!

  • wow whats that ? 80s or something¿

  • yeah listening to the sequence and looking at my equpment one might think it's still 1980. but i can assure you it's 2008 :)

  • Come on, zoom out. We want to see the whole 100M

  • ok, i'll do that in the next/upcoming 100m demo.
