Barack Obama wants to raise taxes. If he wants to help the economy, you lower taxes. Raising taxes will simply encourage our business owners (those that dont go out of business first) to move their production overseas into areas like China and india, and move the rest of their assets to Tax Havens.
See, here's the thing: owners of small businesses make up a vast portion of our economy. These business owners, under obama's plan, will likely be in the range to have their taxes raised.
They will, in turn, be forced to cope with that loss of capital by laying off parts of the workforce, raising prices on goods and services, and cutting expansion.
All of these things are bad for the economy and bad for the middle class.
This guy doesn't follow things to their logical conclusion.
And why should he? Doesn't punishing "the rich" sound so much nicer, and "fairer" than considering the implications of an unsound economic plan that is based upon principles that don't exist in the market, like "fairness" and "morality"... come on, he knows exactly what the outcome is, he doeesn't care, as with all Societ Socialist regimes, it's the peoples fault when socialism fails, not the states.
The only solution I've heard from McCain is to continue George Bush tax cut policy-give more to the wealthy and hope it trickles down. Bush and McCain are wrong. Obama and Clinton are right.
Obama's economic plan is exactly the same as Bill Clinton's plan. 3x more tax cuts to middle class. Are you saying you prefer the plan we have now? Are you better off now than you were 8 years ago? When you have $9 trillion in debt on a credit card owned by China and Russia, how do you expect to pay it off?
