Even a full interior coupe with the USDM motor that makes 200 crank HP stock with just bolt-ons can run the same quarter mile times he did, or better. I can show you a 99 Si running 12.9 with a bolt-on k20a2 making 210whp

When im just cruising, it's quiet as hell, when i lightly accelerate, it kind of has a 350Z tone to it, and when i'm at full throttle, its a deeper, throaty sound mainly from the engine. But whatever. I can tell i'm going to get one of those stupid pissed off civilian replies back

Mk3 supras r out there for 2000, burnt up turbo, blown transmission and all.. Shit I havnt seen a shitty mk4 sell for less than 13k in Seattle.. That civic is built, to be taking on a full on sports car.. A 2jz.(motor from a supra 93+) i6 can bang out 1000 hp with room to spare, check out forum wars, supra vs ford gt.. the trans could use a beef up before going up gainsed the civ lol.. as I put it on mine last night ( total of 3)

Mk4 Supra is a sports car legend and will keep it's price for very long time. It's not your $500 pos civic that has whole underbody rusted and all suspension parts and bushings worn out.
$20k in my book is considered very inexpensive for a car that has performance, that not many new cars under $100k tag have plus the tunability and aftermarket support.

@XxKYFERxX 203whp. theres a difference actually. stock, that motor makes 220 crank hp. those are the numbers you see them advertised at. with a better header, and bigger exhaust, and some good tuning, he could have better power. even bolt on and tuned k20a2's (rated at 200 crank hp) can make 220-230whp. i wouldnt say a supra is shit though. they're nice cars. this is just a race to show what power to weight can do

This isn't showing the power of honda, this is showing a 220hp engine thrown in a stripped out 1800lb shit box. It doesn't take a lot of power to get something like that moving. The engine is nothing impressive, it's power to weight ratio. Take that some shit box and drop a 600hp n/a 383 stroker in it and watch it fly.

From the factory, its 2330lbs, and with gas, an extra ~77lbs. Thoseplastic panels are like a pound or 2 each in back. And seats are light too. You can have the USDM version of this motor that's 200 crank HP, and have bolt ons in a full interior coupe run the same times he did, and some do better. Not here to argue. Just saying

When im just cruising, it's quiet as hell, when i lightly accelerate, it kind of has a 350Z tone to it, and when i'm at full throttle, its a deeper, throaty sound mainly from the engine. @XxKYFERxX 203whp. theres a difference actually. stock, that motor makes 220 crank hp. those are the numbers you see them advertised at. with a better header, and bigger exhaust, and some good tuning, he could have better power. even bolt on and tuned k20a2's (rated at 200 crank hp) can make 220-230whp. i wouldnt say a supra is shit though. they're nice cars. this is just a race to show what power to weight can do
