  • i ate some raw elk yesterday

  • ** Beautiful Music & Wildlife Video **

    Humbly,

  • the look better alive then dead.

  • ur schön und ur lieb diese Tiere

  • i love elk burger

  • elk are the best!

  • does anyone know what Elk in Dutch language is??? its kind of embarrassing to ask... since i am Dutch myself >< but the translators translate it as Eland, wich means MOOSE! i am so confused @_@

  • @GuardianAngelFanga Eland means elk (according to dictionary) but on google translate it says eland is moose and elk. So I am guessing that eland comes from a word that means "big horned" or something similar. I am not Dutch, I just did a little bit of research :)

  • @xSirDingo thanks a lot ^^ i guess ur right, bit i wouldnt know what it actually means xD that sure is clever of you doing such research, since ur not Dutch! wasnt it tricky? What country are you from then? :)

  • @GuardianAngelFanga I am from Wisconsin :) It wasn't too tricky. I just made more of an assumption because english is one of few languages that has a different name for everything. A lot of old languages describe things.

  • @xSirDingo oh cool ^^ i am from Nijmegen :P hm.. true xD my english is the best of the class X3 and i am very proud for that xD sometimes, i just HAVE to use English words, becouse i completely forget the Dutch one XD i'm glad it wasnt too tricky ^^

  • Beautiful video!

  • Sooooo tasty!

  • One cannot truly appreciate how Magnificent & Majestic these creatures are until one can see one up close... Periodically, one will charge through my property & of course, however, hunters & poachers have cut deeply into the local populations... It would truly be a tragedy if there were no more elk in these forests as it would no longer seem like a real forest without them...

  • Last week i had the good fortune to hear bull elks bugling in the Gila NF for the 1st time. They are truly amazing. Lovely video. I come back to it again and again.

  • Beautiful pictures!

  • I Loved it!!! I am a Native American from South Dakota and the Elk is a very respected animal amongst our tribe and culture. You did an awesome job with this video. I actually came to tears because it reminded me of Loving my life and my mother for giving me life,... Please make more vids and maybe some of the Buffalo. It is my spirit animal. Pilyamya Yelo...

  • i love elk theyer so kul

  • I am from The Netherlands, elks doesn't live here. But their cousins, the Red Deer, do. They are somewhat smaller then elks. Nevertheless, the males are also very impressive, especially during the rut, and their bugling is darker, more 'roaring'. But I love watching the elks and hearing their very special call.

  • i want a pet elk

  • @BF3FAN565 I hope you are ready to buy a lot of feed for it. They are the size of a horse you know!!

  • Esna, elk are very beautiful. I have never seen one but we have them in Kentucky. I like wolves (we do not have them in Ky.) but I do not like the fact that these beautiful animals have to be food for anything or anyone. I hope to see an elk in the wild. I hope the Yellowstone elk recover. I love all wildlife.

  • @sunseray69 You know, the Yellowstone elk populations are way, WAY, down because of the re-introduction of the wolf into Yellowstone.

  • @KreigsMarine2 you are so correct. before introduction 20,000 elk. This year only 3,000 elk in Yellowstone.

  • nice pictures... a lot of shooters in there!

  • remember elk

  • Remember Elk.

  • Remember elk!

  • im 11 and i shot a 6x6

  • i just saw two bull elk fight!!!! it was amazing! the crash of the antlers was so strong!

  • awsome... iv seen bull elk before but only 1 time this is so cool truly amazing good job !!!! =3

  • i have never seen an elk but next month 4 of us are going to benezette in PA i hope we see some.Your video and and enya was very good.Just one more of GODS work, thanks

  • GOOD JOB!! Absolutely Majestic. Keep the Video's Coming..

  • We must paint with all the colors of the wind.

  • Very lovely and very poignant, the soothing music tells of your love of the animal, even though I don't understand a word....very, very lovely shots. :)

  • I have to admit, it is a LITTLE boring.. the music puts me to sleep, although it is fitting.. I think perhaps some video clips instead of just pictures would have been better.

    But, that's just my opinion.

  • @aldeanarmy101

    Don't like, don't watch, stupid.

  • Pretty video. I enjoyed it.

  • SOULJA BOY:

    JUICE

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING AND HETERO

  • @souljashoxx nigga what da fuck is juice?!

  • Just ate one last night! Tasted great

  • that was very good, I do not think that I will ever hunt another elk solong as I live. I never look't at them, just look't.

  • beautiful work.great vid.pretty animal. would love to hunt one.

  • THAT VERY ELK AT 2:17 I HAVE HIS RIGHT ANTLER!!! it was at a shop or something :) and i have a strip of his skin and a pic!

  • Beautiful <3

  • I, too, enjoyed both the music and photos capturing the majestic Elk. Thank you for sharing. Your heart is very tender.

  • @Dagger82 What if she's a cold hearted bitch.

  • @reachingforalaskatv You must be young. As you increase in wisdom, you'll find that the contents of peoples' hearts show plainly in their treatment of God's creatures. Whereas, content of their brains are mystery to all.

  • The largest and most beautiful of all deers, the majestic Elk! I absolutly love this video and this song!!!

  • @stalkerpadfoot

FYI, the moose is the largest member of the deer family.

  • perfect ! thank you.

  • all you need is about an hour and a 12 gauge and you can have all the elk you want!

  • Beautiful video and music, music compiments the majesty of this animal. Elk are just as beatiful in Pennsylvania, and I am grateful our state has seen fit to protect the elk. Thanks for sharing this.

    Cinsam

  • nice animal

  • thanks for the post. Am just happy you can still see them, in the wild, One day when all the forrests are gone, and humans are overpopulating the world, you will only have videos like this to watch them...IIts so interesting to see real older adult bull elk, their racks get so artistic with age. ESP moose, the bulls get incredible racks..Sorry peopl give you a hard tiem for posting something nice

  • Funny this is about "elk"....yet no cows are shown. Only Bulls.

  • @KreigsMarine2 that couldn't be more of a wrong observation.

  • Hey, it's OK to appreciate the beauty of an elk. If folks don't want to hunt them, and merely follow and discreetly film them, then I am all for it. I don't mind a hunter who respects the animal and puts some "work" into their hunt either. I enjoy both. I have seen far more elk than I have harvested, I should start to film them as well. It's fun to call in an elk even when you do not intend to take it. It's all nature and nature is good.

  • some of those wll look good on the wall

  • i hunt and also respect these beautiful god like creations of the earth. i've always felt they are protector's of the forest. i give them my blessings for feeding me and my family

  • Why would 14 people dislike this video? must be 14 jack asses running around youtube

  • I liked both elk and your music was a great choice.Gee elk can scratch his back with his antlers.Ya they are tops.

  • So Passionate and Excellent footage *bows* Thank You Sir for Sharing a delightful Video. To those that like to "shoot" them, for Survival means, feeding my family is unfortunately a part of the Circle of life. I'm not hungry enough to need to hunt. I have learned a very Special lesson, They are my friends and fellow brothers. To know these precious gifts is to be them....in Heart, Soul and Nature. They eat from my hands now and bring me their babies to see. A full Circle of Respect & Love

  • BEAUTIFUL SHOTS WITHOUT HARMING A BEAUTIFUL ANIMAL AND YOU TRACKED IT LIKE A TRUE TRACKER UNLIKE MOST OF THOSE FAT ASS HUNTER USING THEIR ATV'S HUNTERS WHEELCHAIRS TO TAKE THEIR FAT ASSES INTO THE WOODS AND THEN TO DRAG OUT THE MEAT LOL.

  • The elk is an absolutely beautiful and majestic animal! Your video does him such justice! A beautiful piece of work! It is so difficult to believe that the brainless, heartless redneck hunters can look at something so magnificent and take its life! But, then, they ARE brainless and heartless rednecks!! Every one of them!

Crass comments are totally unnecessary, but people with that low IQ have nothing better to do! They could go F**K themselves. Probably about all they are capable of anyway

  • @Zsghi I don't know what you are talking about I happen to be a hunter and I have the upmost respect for this animal. I doubt you have ever seen them in all their beauty. As for being "brainless, heartless redneck hunters" I can only answer for myself in saying; first, I am currently working towards double bachelor degrees in Civil and Forestry Engineering; second, I happen to know that the hunters that I know have to be the conservation minded toward the elk.

  • I am a hunter and I don't really understand what you are saying? This is what you said " brainless, heartless redneck hunters" I cannot speak for anyone else but first I am working on dual bachelor degrees in Civil and Forestry Engineering. second, I have the upmost respect for the elk, I doubt that you have ever seen the elk in its true beauty(I don't know that for sure, but thats my guess).

  • The elk is an absolutely beautiful and majestic animal! Your video does him such justice! A beautiful piece of work! • Beautiful video and music. thank you!

  • they make such lovely noises HAHAAH and all the people on here who say this is boring must be hardcore rednecks or should i say people who lacks taste? I see this as somthing made for those who see the magic in the world not those who see these delightfull creatures as a sport for cannon fodder

  • Thanks for posting..it is very refreshing to hear a woman say such things about a elk...yes the y are magnificant creatures as all of Gods work....

  • Lame-O!

  • Very beautiful~ And I so enjoyed the Enya accompaniment , Your labors of love are appreciated.

    All God's goodness~

  • rated G...A.. Y

  • @confined214

Let me guess you dont hunt

  • 2:57 AMAZING 6Pt. Love and respect these animals. And yes, I am a hunter!

  • Thank you... I enjoyed it very much. I am an artist and looking to paint an elk for my next project. I am also looking for some photographic references to make a derivative painting from. Are some of these fantastics photos ones that you have taken. If so I would be very interested in getting permission to use one as a reference. If so, How can I contact you? Again thanks for the beautiful images.

  • nice music...

  • great video. i agree, deer wether elk or red or sambar or fallow etc have a megestic beauty about them. i get as much enjoyment out of just sitting and watching a stag or buck as what i do when i am hunting them.

  • this vid is awesome! I like elk 2. ;)

  • its almost archery elk season here in Idaho! i cant wait

  • great vid thanks for sharing it with us

  • Thats cool half of them i would of shot..... But looking at them is always nice 2

  • Stick one with an arrow DAMN LIBERALS

  • Your pictures are beautiful. The songs are perfect. My husband & I feel the same as you do. However, I do not think elk are endangered. We go to the "Penna Wilds" where there is a free roaming elk herd - not a farm. They are majestic creatures.

  • North American Hunting & Sporting Camp Forum

    Giuen Outright Google Groups.

  • Brilliant!

  • Absolutely beautiful. They are majestic and spiritual creatures.

  • they taste fucking awsome wayyy better than beef

  • love the first song

  • boooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrring

  • @ymtx3 then why did you watch it, if u don't appreciate it don't wiast my time with your condesending comments i dont allow it.

  • nd how did i waste ur time i wasted my time

  • @Esna145 Don't reply/read his comment if you don't want your time wasted. Hypocrite.

  • @xlxshanexlx

    wtf - sicko

  • @Esna145

don't let them discourage you !!!!

    keep the good work

  • @Esna145 you dont allow it? not like you have much choice

  • @Esna145 whats the song?

  • @Esna145 great video i love elk great music too so relaxing thank you for posting this wonderful video

  • @Esna145 I agree with you completely. Is you cant respect the elk, why bother watching and calling it boring. Long live the great spirit of the woods.

  • @Esna145 waste, condescending.

  • @Esna145 You fed the trolls

  • @ymtx3

You must not be a hunter

  • i was once on a walk in the woods and something resembling this creature came out from hehind a tree and bummed me. it was such as thrill

  • Great Video.. And by the way anyone that does not know, If you want to hear these guys Bugle go into the woods during their "Rut". you can prob buy a cheap bugle at any local sports store and try talking to them.. do not worry so much about making it sound exact i have found in my many years of hunting that it's usually the botched bugle that gets the responses heh.. anyway have fun.

  • elks are the most rare DEERS i may say. cos they have this special voice, i respect nature, like u Esna145! :)

  • beautiful......

  • mmmmmmmmm........... those elk sure look tasty!

  • Amazing work, what a wonderful animal to photo shoot, video, paint and harvest. To get up-close and personal enjoying Gods creation capturing the moment is shaking and breath taking. Harvesting and sharing the fruits of ones labor is not silly, it is essential to the survival of these animals. Thanks for the journey, it was awesome!

  • silly to kill it

  • i like enya, but could kind of lose the music. i love elk..they taste good lol! but they ar ealso a very beautiful animal

  • @Denmoose712 haha! omg! i totaly know what u r talking about!

  • great video I couldn't hear any of the gun shots what model of silencer where you using?

  • wow great pics nice music really like it

  • what magnificent creatures and how wonderfully you have captured their image.

  • I live in Wyoming and we have elk all over the place. I just saw over 100 from my porch.

Lousy, lazy hunters always blame wolves or out of staters or they didn't sight in their rifle.

You just have to work for them now you lazy bums.

  • Incredibly beautiful photography and gorgeous Celtic music make this presentation one that I will watch over and over.

  • Love this video.....had the chance to photo Elk for the 2nd time only. This time in Montana,,your music is perfect..it's a spiritual experience , so uplifting..thanks for your great work

  • Wonderfull animals. Never seen one, I live in sweden where we have the Moose and Roedeer/ and other Deer species. But Elk is a wonderfull and majestic creature. I hope they will live forever,

    Love from Sweden.

  • We used to have a lot of Elk in Idaho. It was quite the sight to see. About 3 years ago, someone thought of the brilliant idea of re-introducing wolves to Idaho. Now our Elk herds have been cut down by more than half, and the wolf population thrives. It is very rare to see a herd anymore. Only 1 or 2 at a time once in a great while.

  • hey man 3 letters sss shoot shovel and shut up

  • Pretty elk

  • Awesome vid......what is the name of this song???????? I LOVE THE SONG!!!!

I love hearing elk in the wild its like nothing else on earth

  • Absolutely beautiful. Why should it be the last? I am happy to see the work of someone who appreciates the beauty of large browsers like deer and elk. So many miss it. You have shown people something they`need to see:) Praise God for His awesome work!

  • This is my last slideshow, but now I'm going to try to capture live video on them when i can.

And i really appreciate your comment :)

  • Your video is fabulous and Enya's music really suits it, like you i am fascinated with elk and deer, have you ever seen paintings by E. Landseer, he painted deer, "The Braemoor Gathering" and "Monarch of the Glen" are Fabulous paintings by him. Keep posting the videos, they're brilliant!
