This is a perfect demonstration of control. The fact that the guy can do it with explosive power, yet perfect control; do it slowly with the same level of control and more over, do it time and time again with such control shows that they really know the technique inside out. Its the kinds of technique that yes, is hard to pull off, but when executed like this can really catch an opponent off guard and get a win. Seen it used in Sambo competition a lot.

@TheRealVictorThai of course they wouldnt but if you manage to get a hold of their wrist and turn it over, someone not trained will be stuck, it's all about practing controlling the position, helio gracie...

@TheRealVictorThai ...demonstrates knife defense using a similiar technique to control the arm. its on the first gracies in action video. but yeah i agree this technique would require your control of the opponent to be almost if not perfect.

@TheRealVictorThai I've trained with the grand master and I can tell you that yes the arm is locked by the right hand on the rotator cuff in the shoulder. So before you make comments remember this is just demonstration of the technique just like anything else in anything requires practice.
