Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Installation

quik question... i have a mac 10.5 and i plan on upgrading to 10.6 snow leopard on my macbook this week. i backed up my hardrive from my imac desktop on my external hardrive using time machine. when i instal snow leopard cn i then after restore the settings the way i had it on my imac using the time machine i saved my hardrive?

you legally cant but if you want to, look for "hackintosh" tutorials on the internet...just be aware that u'll be liable for whatever u do to your pc..

I've tried both OS's and personally I learned to like them both equally. Mac OS X is a pretty nice and well made OS and I think the PC users give them less credit than it deserves. On the otherhand, Windows 7 is an amazing OS, and it definately improved a ton over Vista. The speed and functionality of it is just great. It's cool how I don't have to worry about viruses as much as much as on my PC, but Windows 7 has my gaming... In the end, I really think they even out....

u cannot install it [officially] on a pc. There are ways you can do it, but unfortunately I am not sure how...there is a website that may help you though... OSX86project (dot) org ... note that you may need more than average experience with computers to figure out how to do it...

by default, snow leopard does not CLEAN install, meaning no data will be lost. If you choose to CLEAN install, then you should back up your data. The video above is of a regular install, not a CLEAN one.
