I like his version better than the original. I recently got "Mannic Distortion" from Sweden. He sings like Dave Mustaine (early yrs. of Megadeth) and King Diamond combined. Kinda cool!

this is pretty old. I have this album as in 12 inch vinyl. He is a great guitar player. This is from the late 80's. I believe they put out two albums, I don't know where they are now.I bet I can probably find that mannic distortion c.d still. I know a dude that owns a record store and if it is available anywhere he can get it. he has been in the business 26 or 27 years and knowes his shit.I have sleight of hand on vinyl in mint condition.

By the way, yes he was in Michael Angelo's Band before Nitro, also in the "Dude's Of Wrath" from the "Shocker" movie soundtrack. Michael Angelo by the way is an out-of-this- world inspirational musical giant that rules. I've met him and he is one of my heroes.

Yes this if from "Sleight Of Hand". I don't agree with 1 other commenter about his 2nd album not being as good. His 2nd album is not instrumental for 1 thing, and I believe that "Mannic Distortion" is a vocal metal-thrash masterpiece along the lines of any metal voacl album of its' time in 1991. Great singing introduced by the Mann along with the patented unique shredding. Buy Mannic Distortion" if you can find it, an epic masterpiece. Guy Mann-Dude is soo fun, how can you go wrong?

This guy truly sucks. I hardly ever say that too. His riffing is bad, his arrangement of this classic song is terrible, his chops are sub-par to the instrumental guitar rock of the era. The only "good" thing about him is his name, lol. I'd say he's got a good sense of humor based on that alone. Still, thanks for posting. Just thought I'd throw in my two cents.

He had only been playing for a couple of years. He was originally a drummer that played in a band with Steve Vai that never made it to fruition.
