I tend to almost dislike, in general, the classical period (love renaissance, love post-romantic), until hearing it transcribed for guitar. It amazes me how magically the guitar redeems this music, to my ear at least. On guitar, I really love this sort of piece. And I love the Segovian manner in which Eliot lovingly caresses his guitar. And those hands...! Just beautiful music.
