People think hell is so unfair but think about it. If you lied to a eight year old what could he do? not much. what about the government? That's called treason. See the punishment goes up according to the person you wronged. What about a holy God? Sense God is infinitely holy so is the punishment.
Hell absolutely exists...but not as you "more christian than Jesus" christians think. Hell is being stuck in a room full of born-again christians for all of eternity. A room full of holier than thou clowns who "praise Jesus" all day long when in public, then watch porn and cheat on their spouses and gossip when nobody is looking. Sounds like hell to me.
2 Timothy 4:3-43 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.

Im saying He wont because He made a promise weather we like it or not.. and the promise was for a Messiah to come and save us from sin..Thats what Jesus did.. But to not believe in eternal Hell is to misunderstand sin. Sin says that "no one seeks God"(Rom3) or knows God or loves God apart from being divinely enabled to do so (Eph 2). The wages of sin is eternal death as eternal life is the victory of Christ imputed to the regenerate Christian.
Went to church all my life...started actually researching the doctrines of the church, and learned the same things Bell has. His book is good at exposing some of the lies and silly doctrines of the church, and at getting one to actually think, rather than lazily accepting what they are told...but he does leave some questions unanswered and I don't think I agree with all areas of his book.
