  • wow...the 360 is easier to take apart than that shit...

  • I got the same Triwing! Thanx for the video.

  • Worked great! I made some mistakes and had to go back a few times (even forgot to put the buttons back in once :P). The biggest problem was that my touch screen (the touch part, not the screen) stopped working at first - it would respond on the "touch to continue" screen at startup, but then nothing. Really weird. I went and reinserted the (very small) touch screen ribbon. Worked like a charm afterwards.

  • where did you buy your shell?

  • I'm having trouble unscrewing the tri screws put in, i have the correct screwdriver however the screw just seems to not turn anti clockwise, any help?

  • can you awnser my question:

i am puting this case over his ds and i need help on the L and R part

how come i cant take it out?

  • WARNING!

The ribbon cables are extremely easy to tear!

Be careful when rolling/unrolling the top LCD ribbon cable and make sure the bottom LCD doesn't move around too much because the thin ribbon cable on the top keeps moving back and forth.

  • y?

  • as soon as i opened up mine and saw the circuit board...i closed it up.

  • y?

  • im workin on replacing the hinge

  • idk how to take out the L and R buttons i lifted the back but not all the way cuz im afraid to brake it

  • Those chrome buttons are sick.

  • How do you get the rubber things out of the top part? I can't do it...

  • do i have to keep track of which screw goes where?

  • So did your housing come with that metal sticker thing and decent parts? i might buy the camo case. seen it on ebay earlier.

  • My case has been broken for over a year now. Thank you for putting this tutorial up. Now my dad and I won't be so nervous about taking it apart when I finally get around to ordering my replacement case.

  • Thanks for your vid, changed my son's case with your instructions. My old eyes are sore now! Thanks again.

  • Great video!! Thanks from Holland!!

  • the rubber pieces i just stabbed it with the screw driver on one side and it came out easy -_-

  • I tried to do this because there was a hinge crack on my old ds shell, so a bought a new one. But when I was switching it, my flatwire cable broke and now I have to buy a new top screen :( Anyway, my old one was with a pixel error(a big sprite at the middle of the screen).

  • Not as Easy as the PSP :(

i guess ill wait to repair my DS litle

  • Awesome video. Helps a ton.

  • thx

  • hey buddy can u make a vidoe or send me a link on to how to replace a ndsl slot-1 soket?

  • I myself am not that familiar with what you're looking for, but I'll ask my buddy (who's featured in the video) if he's ever done that before.
