THIS IS HOW IT WORKS AS PER FEBRUARY 2012 !! Zynga seemed to wise up on this method and now redirects you to the app page every time you click "CastleVille". What you NOW NEED TO DO is to enter "CastleVille" in the search part of Facebook. DO NOT click the APP "CastleVille". INSTEAD, click on the PAGE "CastleVille" (you will find the "pages" as a separate result list at the bottom of the search results). And then you get to the page where you can block it.

Yeah, those instructions didn't work either, but I searched for the Castleville fan page. It actually says App in results. You can go to page without seeing the Allow crap. Then go to the lower left and block the app.

Okay figured it out. Went to the/my(?) Apps and Games page where the Castleville invitation(s) also reside. Clicked the little "x" in the upper right hand corner of the invite and it gave me the option to "block" everything from Castleville. Success.

You can also go to "Game Requests" in your side bar, then click "Ignore all" next to the game name. And then a Yellow box will appear asking if you want to "Block" the app, or "undo" the previous action. Way easier ;)
