It has been so beautiful, with the snow. You never know what's going to happen from one year to the next. We either get the Arctic air or the Pacific air. It's cyclical too. But it's a large cycle. It has all happened before I'm sure. They're saying that next year it'll be Arctic air time again. I'm glad.
again, i grew up in vancouver. all my life i heard older people complain about the rain. conversations like this were boring. everywhere in canada it snows. and rains less. i could not understand why older people complain so much about the rain. especially logically, it does rain in vancouver. thats what it is
Vancoiver got hammered real bad last winter . On that same day here we had a light snow flurriy that lasted 10 minutes brfore changing to rain. However it was a cool day with a high temp. of only 2.7 C.
Oh, yeah. This has been fun while it lasted. We're on high ground here. That flooding is terrible. Nothing worse than water getting onto where you live. Ruins everything.

How often does it snow in Vancouver on January? Is it covered with snow the whole month or it only snows once in a while?

i grew up in vancouver and for years there was very little snow. the melt on contact type. and then in the last couple of years its really increased
