yeah... some of our youth in india are misguided by the media that china is a threat.. i disagree with it... both are devoloping and hard working nations.... and when my uncle visited china he told me the kind of hospitality he received from chinese.... Chinese people respect india.. I say this because even i used to have the attitude like some people here and i urge all indians to change their misconception against china...

@betty00759: If you look at the history of India, over 12,000 years from (10,000BC to 2011) no foreign power/religion/civilization really succeeded in centrally changing India or permenantly changing the Indian/Hindu culture at a grass root level. Islam/Mughals tried hard achieved 10% (just the top 10%), perished, and passed on. How so? Indian Hindu culture's 8 leveled Yoga culture has its first step of first level as Non-Voilence with all living things (hence vegeterian).

India's geopolitically & historically the strongest in the region. India deserves its title, a beautiful democracy, with all religions & ethnic diversity co-existing peacefully, an e.g to the rest of the world! Unfortunately its neighbours just want to cause problems e.g mumbai bombings. Anyhow, it has the fastest growing economy & potential to become a superpower if it takes a more realist approach. Congrats India on ur discipline,hard work,tolerance,balance & wisdom. A world in itself India.

Hi i'm from England. This was a module of mine that I chose for my International Politics degree, India relations of a Rising Power. It is a new final yr module this year. I had the exam for it last week & it went well :) India really deserves a lot of credit. Hope they can be strong and sort internal issues too (poverty) , so that it can really become a great major player. Long overdue. India has been very nice in its world history & hopefully it can be strong in this globalised realist world.
