Hi Hoganfan. I really like your swing, but have one comment that I feel would help your consistency. Stop your backswing a little earlier as you come out of your spine angle and raise your head. Maybe holding that right knee flex a little longer will help. :-)
Yes, it's a so called one plane swing. It is not of the Jim Hardy variety though, or the Plummer & Bennett Stack & Tilt, or the Mac O'grady MORAD model (but it is similar to MORAD). It is my own with help from a great instructor in Texarkana. It is more based on Ben Hogan's principles.
if you watch closely you see that at the very beginning of the backswing your going slightly DOWN, then after half of the backswing up. So maybe your compensating this little move down at the beginning. Might be easier to FIRST get rid of this move down at the beginning.
I Sincerely appreciate the input but I really didn't post my swing to get swing advice. I can nit pick my swing and see about 5 things I don't like about it that I'm still working on. The lift is caused by straightening out the right leg too much and not getting my right hip moving back and toward the target enough at the end of my BS.
No problem. I just put it up because I post about golf swings and thought it only fair for people to whom I offer advice to see how I swing it. I know there's still lots of work to do before it's where I'd like it to be, but I do know what I need to work on.

And no, my tempo doesn't vary much.

i think its a great swing. it looks like it repeats. Does your tempo differ from day to day?

if you wouldnt start lifting from half of the backswing to the top this would be a great swing imo.
